ok now i have heard this from only 1 person who i harly even know and have no clue haw creitable this person is. I was told that SF daien lake was going to close, that it had filed for bakrupcy. now waht confused me even more was that this person didn't tnik it would actualy close and that the guy hat owns it was going to sell it. Ok, the park is not owned by any 1 individual, but by the SF corporation, a publicly trade company, so therfore the owners of the park are the sahre holdersof the SF company.
can anybody clear any of this up for me?
has anybody else heard anything about this?

wat i heard is that six flags is going to sell it to Disneyland so that disney can branch out up the east coast, think about it they have one in the west, in the south, so they probably going to put on up east in NY.

Disney has much higher standards than what Six Flags parks have to offer. If they did acquire the park, they would most likely tear everything down and start from scratch.

never ever ever gonna happen, disney would never have parks like six flags all they care about is scenary. they'd rather spend 100 million dollars on a horrible ride in a mountain then spending like a quarter of that on an awsome ride withought the mountain :haha:. they would literally have to tear down everything for a scenary filled lala land, and i dont think they would do this. well at least i hope they wouldnt.

As far as I'm aware Six Flags are thinking about selling Darien Lake because they need the cash to pay of their loan and it doesn't fit the new family friendly policy. Also on the possible chop list are Six Flags Waterworld, Six Flags Elitch Gardens, Wild Waves & Enchanted Village, Six Flags Splashtown and Six Flags Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor.
