I don't think the whole world should stop playing it i just think the developers could of done a better job! The last DBZ game is one of my favorite games so this one was a big dispointment to me. Also the new DB Advanced Adventure game is one of the best games for the game boy advance but i still think they could of added a little more.

Ok read through the tread few things i want to talk about. The design of the game. They took a unique take on the enviroment by giving it a more animated looked like the manga and show. Something was mentioned about there being no story mode. I had to read that twice to think an almost direct port of an arcade game.(ARCADE GAME) This game was made to be played in the arcades and must of had a following for there to be a console release. Someone griped about there being less characters then the previous game. Ok one important point this isnt tenkaichi or budokai its an all new game with no ties to them so its character set is its own and a good amount i must say. True budokai and tenkaichi has spoiled us with tons of characters to play. Though they play the same like some one mentioned before cloned movesets. Super budokai has really distinct moves for all its players. Plus when you do a card char you could make multiple chars of the same char and have different special moves skills.

I have stated in another post that after playing super dbz i found tenkaichi lacking. It holds true super dbz you have to learn and know who you use to be effective with them but in tenkaichi u can pick just about any char can use them effectively with out a glance at there moves since the basic moves of the game is and specials are all done the same.

I ll like to add this I think more fighting games should have multi teer levels like budokia 1-2 and dead or alive have.

I thought the Graphics were the best part of the game. It really looked Manga inspired or whatever and the lighter more pastely color schemes were a welcome addition. Being able to get other colors is pretty cool also, I just wish the budokai games had that in addition to alternate costumes. It's annoying you have to go thru 7 fights to get each one though.

I don't see how the characters are that much more differentiated in their movesets than the ones in Budokai 3. I mean its just different ways of activating a move doing a quarter circle + button versus buttonx4 + button. Definitely more differentiated than Tenkaichi though.

Going super saiyan is more of a pain in this though, because it wears off on its own. I also think the manual was a bit lacking in depth because there's no tutorial to help learn the controls, I had to find a few things out on the net.

I like the flying in this better than in Tenkaichi also. I'd rather not worry about complex controls when all I want to do is get near the opponent or away from them.

I'm not a fan of old-school fighting games. Its difficult for me even on easy and I'm not good with video games to begin with. I didn't buy it to be challenged, I bought it to basically beat up people in the game heh. But Super DBZ doesn't suck, its fun but it does take some time to get used to. I need to play more.

Okay first off, I've been playing DBZ games since SNES times, and also have been watching DBZ since it was aired on the International Channel ^-^

Now onto my opinion of the game..

this game isn't the worst (IMO, the original Budokai, all the Final Bout games, and the first Super Butoden game suck...), but at the same time, this game just isn't my kind of game. I am getting good at it, but at the same time, it's just too slow.. DBZ was never a slow series with fighting, and it just don't seem like a good DBZ fighter.. I mean, street fighter is an arcade style game, but even it's fast paced.. same with Capcom Vs. SNK2.. sure it has a LOT of fighters, but it's still an arcade game, and it's fast paced.. i would have loved to have seen this game faster paced..

the fighters are okay, I don't mind the "small amout" of fighters.. I especially love Chi Chi being in it.. she's awesome and deserves to be in a DBZ game hehe... also the graphics are beautiful... I love the graphics... controls are... ehhh... well they are okay... somewhat simple, somewhat complex.. but anyways... the only real thing i dislike is it's slow-paced format... I don't like it at all... but.. it's ok... i guess...

the flying system might as well not be in there, its like budokia but with horrible control schemes and the whole fighting system is just so repetitive (you can dash an enemy to death even on hardest setting)

I have to admit. This game has its ups and downs. I thought the "Street Fighter" style of this game was kind of appealing but for some reason this game just seems to put me to sleep after awhile

Sagas you mean? I kinda liked it. I have that game and its usually funner if your playing with someone else so both of you can run around and kill things
