I have been playing this game for a while and am unable to unlock anything.
How do I unlock different rides and also when I set up my fireworks and I go to get out of it, it will shut off. What am I doing wrong?

You unlock rides by completing Career Scenarios. As for the mixmaster, I never use it so I have no idea.
