received my disk. Can't Play! Need help!

I received the ps2 beta cd for TDU. I didn't get any emails though. The game starts connection is ok but can't continue as I get a error 502 during auth.

Sounds like the authorization problem is with your ISP, the game itself doesn't require it.

I don't think so. Connection test is ok and I use the same setup with my xbox 360 and never had any problems.

You didn't forget your signup info for the game, did you? Not entering the wrong password or anything?

I had some connection issues when I first hooked everything up, but it was on my ISP's end. Once it was sorted, I was fine, played for about an hour or so.

Do you have any other online PS2 games? I'd check to see if they're working. If they do, then it's something in your TDU account setup. If they don't, then it's something in your overall PS2 online setup.

The game itself has a login/password to access the TDU servers (that you yourself set up when you first attach). You're probably not getting that far, though.

You need to email or PM Betatestadmin to have him send you the email again. A lot of us (including me) didn't get any email, the disc just showed up out of the blue. I'm still waiting for access to the Beta forum myself.

As I said, try a different online game. If you're not even connecting to the TDU servers, then it's not something related to the game. I'd be willing to bet that none of your online games are working.

I doupt its about the account caus i am pretty sure i just put my "usual" username and password in there and create an account.. i dont remember entering this info when i registered for the beta.. (unless i did hehe)

Who did you e-mail? I sent a PM to betatester guy on here but no answer.. should i send an email instead? only for the forums.. i can play the game..

I sent him an email, betatestadmin@atari.com. He replied the next day and forwarded the original confirmation email (which included links to the Bug Tracker site and the private Beta forum).

I PM'd him today about the forum thing, I still don't have access to it.

The "sign on" I was talking about was in the game, you didn't have to do it when you signed up for the beta. When I plugged in the game last night, I created a new Account with my username (Jedi2016) and password, just for the TDU servers. But it sounds like Turk isn't even connecting to the server in the first place.

Yeah it does seem like its a connection problem on his end.. mine took a few seconds to connect (after DNAS) but then it was alright

/me thinks you have a modded PS2...

Modded PS2's will not ever authenticate DNAS.
