How do I get my own Custom User Title?
This title will appear beneath your username on your posts and in your profile:

----------------------------------------

Go to your User Control Panel (User CP) (http://i2.tinypic.com/42ujeht.jpg)
Go to Edit Profile (http://i2.tinypic.com/23kugyx.jpg)
And look for this (http://i6.tinypic.com/23kulh2.jpg) text box:
Fill in the white area and press ''Save Changes''. That's it!

f
How do I get a signature?
And what are the rules for having a signature?

----------------------------------------

Go to your User Control Panel (User CP) (http://i2.tinypic.com/42ujeht.jpg)
Go to Edit Signature (http://i5.tinypic.com/23lxd1h.jpg)

You will now see the place where you can create your own signature.
You can add smilies, underlined text, colored text, bold text, etcetera...
If you want to look how your signature is going to display, just press the ''Preview Signature'' button.
If you like the way your signature looks, just press the ''Save Signature'' button.
FYI, quote tags don't work in signatures.

The rules for having a signature:
Signatures cannot be larger than 5 lines of normal text.
HTML coding and the tags are disabled in signatures.
Smilies are the only kind of images which are allowed in signatures.
Also note that it's not allowed to use the [shot], [screenshot], [shotpollmini] or [shotmini] tag in your signature.
The penalty for violating one of these rules are 3 Infraction Points.

***Click here to view additional rules*** (http://i26.tinypic.com/2sbo3gg.png)

f
XBox Live GamerTag:
Note that you can use this code in your signature.

----------------------------------------

Use this BB Code to display your XBOX or XBOX 360 GamerTag here on the forums! This is a handy and cool way to show other users your GamerTag and find other users who you might want to play against or meet on Xbox Live!
Just place the and tag around your GamerName like this:

ATARI becomes:

To use this feature you need to do the following things:

f
How does tge Infraction System works:
The Infraction System replaced the Warning System after the upgrade:

----------------------------------------

You can view other members there Infraction Level beneath their avatar.
I'll use as an example 1/2 (3).

1 stands for the number of Warnings you’ve received. In this case: 1 Warning.
2 stands for the number of Infractions you’ve received. In this case: 2 Infractions.
The 3 represents the Infraction Level. In this case the user has a Infraction Level of 3.

When you reach an Infraction Level of 15 you’ll be banned. It depends on the kind of infraction(s) you received if you got temporarily banned or permanently banned.

Warnings don't count for your Infraction Level.
Infractions do count for your Infraction Level.

With the upgrade the names of the warnings changed:
What was an alert is now a warning (so warnings carry no points anymore), what was a warning is now called an infraction (which carries points).

If you see the Yellow Card (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/images/buttons/yellowcard.gif) icon you now know that the author of that post received a Warning.
If you see the Red Card (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/images/buttons/redcard.gif) icon you now know that the author of that post received a Infraction.

You can also click on the card to see what kind of Warning / Infraction that user received, from who he received it and when he recieved it.

Here is a list of all Warnings / Infractions you can recieve:

http://i24.tinypic.com/wwj39i.png

You can not get a warning for Misc Instant Ban or Ad Spam Ban.

If you want to review your own warning and infraction list, all you have to do is go to your UserCP. You can find a list of your current and expired warnings/infractions there. It will also tell you, when you received the infraction/warning, who gave it to you, what kind of infraction/warning you have and when it will expire. This more detailed information can only be seen by you, moderators and administrators.

Note that temp bans are not being handled by infractions. Someone who is temp banned will have the banned user title but not show up as having 15 infraction points

/
Instant Messaging:
Here you can enter your registered identity for instant messaging networks:

----------------------------------------

Go to your User Control Panel (User CP) (http://i2.tinypic.com/42ujeht.jpg)
Go to Edit Profile (http://i2.tinypic.com/23kugyx.jpg)

And look for this:

http://i10.tinypic.com/4325mz4.jpg

Fill in the white areas and the information you submitted will show up in your profile.

/
Picture Albums:
Upload your favorite images and show them to other users!

----------------------------------------

1. When you are looking at your profile, you can from there start an Album. Look for this box and press Add Album. (http://i35.tinypic.com/j0uu4i.png)
2. You can now make an Album (http://i33.tinypic.com/2zel289.png). All you have to do now is, make a title and a dicription and choose if you want your Album to be public or not.
3. You now created an Album (http://i35.tinypic.com/4j9lhy.png). In order to be able to upload images, you have to press one of the buttons on your screen. This will bring you to another screen where you can start uploading images. By pressing Edit Album, you can change the name and discription of your album or delete it.
4. You are now ready to start uploading pictures (http://i33.tinypic.com/1zejx3.png). You can upload 3 pictures at once if you want. Please note that images can not be bigger then 600x600 pixels or 500kb and that the maximum amount of images you can upload is 20.

/
Profile Pictures:
This allows you to upload an extra image which will show up in your Public Profile:

----------------------------------------

1. Go to your User Control Panel (User CP) (http://i2.tinypic.com/42ujeht.jpg)
2. Go to Edit Profile Picture (http://i12.tinypic.com/48w2v02.jpg)
3. You can now upload an image or hotlink to it. All you have to do is to follow the instructions on the page and press ''Save Changes''. If everything went correctly you will now have an extra image in your Public Profile. Be aware that the maximum size of your Profile Image is 100 by 100 pixels or 97.7 KB! You can also delete your Profile Picture here.

Update about GV

Here is some additional information about the GV tag which might be useful:
You can also find more info in the BB code list (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode#gv). :)
I tried to quote the BB code explanation to but it messed up the forum layout. :bulb:
EDIT: Oh, you can also use the GV tag to use with YouTube video's. It might be helpfull to explain how that works as well. :)

To use the Atari Forum's Google Video BB Code you must first go to the Google Video website found at: http://video.google.com then you must find that video that you want to display here on the forum. Third you must open the video on google video's site and then click the Email - Blog - Post to Myspace link. This will then open a dropdown where you will find a link that says Embed HTML. Here fyou will find the link that you have in put in between the tags. The link will start off with src="USE THE LINK HERE". You want the part that is in between the quotes. Just take that link put it between ["gv"] and [/"gv"] (without the quotes) and the video will then work. We have made it so that you have to use that link because we have to be sure that the video has proper permissions to display on other sites and this is also the easiest way to post the video here on the site.

Note: This code (Atari Forums Google Video BB Code) currently is in Beta Phase. This means that for the most part it is feature complete but we are looking to see how it does and fix any bugs that we find with it.

Important Notice: No video files are hosted on these forums. By clicking the link below, you acknowledge that you are viewing content from an external, non-Atari affiliated website. You agree (i) that Atari is not responsible for the suitability or legality of this content and (ii) that your viewing of this content is subject to Atari’s Message Board Terms of Service, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Here is an example output:

[gv]http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-2818594538843963454&hl=en

So again to use this you need the HTML Embed Link found in the email - blog - post to myspace area of the google video page. The link comes up in the code after you click embed in HTML.
how do u get msn and yahoo messenger n stuff?

I'm new to the forums thing but I need help. I'm a bit threw the Dragon Adventure Mode of DBZ BT2 (just starting the Android Saga) and for some reason I can't select Goku in dual mode. It lets me pick him, choose normal or custom, but then won't let me choose a costume (which there are four choices for). Does anyone know what is going on here?:sour:

Hi and welcome.
There is nothing wrong with Goku's costumes,as the first 4 are very similar to one another.
However the differences are very slight, such as symbols appearing on his back etc.
He has 6 in total at the end of the Dragon Adventure and the last 2 stand out.
Dw about it ok, as this has been asked a few times already.

I'm not an Atari Employee. (Super) Moderators and Admins get larger avatars to stand out more. :)

Go to your User CP. In your CP look for Settings & Options > Edit Options.
Search for Messaging & Notification. There you need to look for Default Thread Subscription Mode. Change the Default Thread Subscription Mode to: No email notification and press ''Save Changes''. That's it. :)

Hi, hecsanti. Could you please elaborate your question. In DBZ BT2 you can create your own custom characters and you have to generate a password and post it here on Atari so other people can retrieve that password and fight against your custom made character. You can get passwords from other people over the internet and put those passwords in Tenkaichi 2 to fight against characters which somebody else made.

So, does he want to know how he can create his own passwords or where he can get passwords from other people? :)

Only moderators and admins can delete threads. Users can only delete posts.

how do i delete private messages
Check the messages you want to delete and go to the drop-down box and select ''delete''. Then press go.

So I got the game and stuff, been playing it as a freak because
the AI is much better this time. The attacks including kiblasts do less damage and you stay fighting for more.

Q: Do you Never win a card on dragon mission?
You must buy all of them?

This is a thread for forum related questions, the other sticky is for IW related questions, I copied your post to that thread.
