I need some advice on how to make buildings with ShyGuy's Custom Scener Sets. I started to build a building, but I can't figure out how to make it like the ones that are in his park:( . If someone could give me some pointers I would gladly appreciate it:D . Thanks

What sets? Main Street? Expo 3000? Alpine Vilage? Can't help you unless you tell us. If you are planning to make the Expo 3000 space port building DON'T. You will be dead meat if you recreate it because its like trademarked in this forum.

The sets that I'm talking about are the Main Street Ones, the Alpine Village Ones and the other two custom scenery sets.

Lets see, for the Main Street packs, Vodhin has created a video on how to create a simple building, heres the link (http://www.vodhin.net/HowTo/Buildings/Vodhins_BuildingTutorial_1.zip). To make the Expo 3000, Alpine Village, and Circus center sets, pm Shy Guy. He should be able to help you (since he created them). PS, why do you need to know? Are you trying to make your own Wonder World:weird:?

No I'm not trying to make my own wonderworld:D . I just want to know how to make some of the buildings now so it won't be a huge challenge later.
P.S. What does pm mean:weird:

pm means Private Message. I'm not an expert on building with people's scenery packs. You'll want to ask him because I really don't know.

Another question ( I'm new to these forums ). What do you do to send a private message?

Okay, go to one of shy guy's posts. Click on his name. A menu shall apear. Click on send a private message. A new page will pop up. His name should be in the reciepent box. Then type in your message (the same way you would post a reply). Then hit send. Its that easy. Good luck.

In Shyguy's sets there are several pieces that have to overlap each other. That's the main thing different to other sets I guess.
In the mainsteet set you first build the walls, then you can add ornaments on it. In corners you could place columns, for example. Windows are added in the walls. The roofs contain several different pieces over each other. If things don't match (while they should), try rotating it 180 degrees.
Alpine Village works the same mostly. Building the walls first, then windows and finally beams to finish it (all in the walls). Best advice here, read the names of the pieces. There are a lot of beams, but notice that some belong to specific roofs.
There are different heights of roofs in the alpine vilage set. From 2 height to 6 height.
Look at pictures where the sets are used and learn from them. See the possibility's and experiment. Good luck!

I think one thing should be corrected...I don't believe there's any rule against putting a building similar to the Expo 3000 one in your park...unless you give everyone the impression that you are the one that designed it.
Shyguy designed his sets to build his Wonder World, so for the most part it's specific to those needs, but he was good enough to include many extra items when he shared these sets with us.
Shyguy is also a busy guy, so I think probably the easiest way to see how the different pieces work is to either download one of his Wonder World benches (do a search in the parks section, that will give you the links to read the threads about them), and Shyguy has a link to his site in his signature where you can download the benches, then you can actually see how everything fits. Another way to see these sets in action is to check in the structures section where a few people have posted structures they built using them.
Also sebar has several nice buildings built with these sets available at his site (rcthq.com), as do several other sites.

Thanks DrctBoy! Thanks everyone else who gave me suggestions. I watched Vodhin's video and I have a good idea how to build with his sets. Thanks again!
