The little-known 1957 F-Series Ford Thunderbird with the 312 Y-Block V8 strenthened by a four-barrel carburetor and a McCulloch VR57 Supercharger, with special heads to reduce engine compression. (BTW: I know that F-Series is Ford's truck line. F-series in this case is an engine code, smarty pants :).)

Today, one of these runs about $125,000 minimum given their rareness. Less than 40 exist today, and under 200 (192 I believe) were created originally. It's a beautiful car and worthy of the game. Would make an awesome cruiser.

The AAR 'Cuda had a 340 Six-Pack, with no other engine available, so it's not a hemi, and I'm glad, because 340's are some super powerful and fun small-blocks, they really like to rev, plus they're light for better handling and weight balance. "1968 plymouth hemi gtx 440" and "1970 plymouth hemi gtx 440"? What do you want a hemi or a 440? They're two different engines, so unless you want 'em with dual engines (like the Hairy Olds), you'll have to make up your mind.

Those big cars are super nasty at the dragstrip, but I'd rather have a Thunderbolt (1964 Fairlane with 427 side-oiler and lightweight stuff out the wazoo) since they're considerably lighter than the big 'ol Galaxie, and they're built for drag racing, which would make the long straights and stoplights of Oahu really fun.:D:up:

TDU definitely needs a 1971-1974 Detomaso Pantera, they go 0-60 in 5.5s, (that's pretty good for 1971) it would be a great addition to the classic/muscle car lineup and it's just awesome.

I'd have to say the Venom 1000. It looks AMAZING. Especially when compared to the Veyron. not everything you listed was made in a 2008 trim. the RX-7 is no longer in production, its McLaren, not McClaren, the Veyron will never be in any video game. its a V8 Vantage, not a B8. there is no 2008 Enzo or Ford GT. (enzo was made one year, and one year only. and the Ford GT's production ended a year or so ago)

as almost everyone does. I would love to have the bugatt veyron. it is amazing, a car that is debatably the fastest car in the world but also has the same luxuries as a bentley or rolls royce. But another car i would like to have is one probably no one has ever seen. a 1958 Volvo PV544. it was actually produced from 1958-1965. my grandfather has a 1958 model and i love it. it is very slow and would go definatly in G glass. it has about the same specs as the mercedes 300sl does in tdu. but it looks great and is very unique. look it up on google. it is awsome.

One other point i'd like to make which many of the online plays have been talking about. How we would like to be able to modify the cars including bodykits, alloy wheels, carbon fibre, bucket seats, racing steering wheels, neons and maybes sound systems etc. Its to try and make the cars we drive on the car unique to what everyone else is driving such as: two people both driving 1999 Peugeot 106 part from one has a carzone bodykit and 17" oz racing wheels while the other just has been lowered with carbon fibre bonnet and rota ultra lightweight 15" alloys. I would love to know if anyone else agrees with this because i think it would make the game a real hit on the release date.

Would be cool if you could take a mk4 Golf and slam it on some chrome porsche wheels or modify a Honda Civic. Nothing over the top like rediculas graphics! Something which you'd see in the tuning magazines. I didnt like how when you tuned the cars you couldnt just add a blow off valve or an exhaust system. Was a little odd. Anyone with me?

I agree with those...atleast the Evo X, but one car i would really like to see in TDU2 is the 1998 Toyota Supra TT...beast of a car

I thought of one more-the SSC Ultimate Aero, its the fastest production car ever and could be capable of 273 MPH.

Yea it probably would turn into the next Saleen but to be honest I really dont see that many people in S7's when I play online (I do play PSP online so most people are in CCR's,more than S7's, even though there aren't that many people that play online on the PSP) but it would be a good car that you would unlock maybe when you beat all the races or when you beat all the clubs or when you get like 100%, somethin that takes work to get so that you wouldn't have 100 people driving around in it.

Enjoying the Bugatti Veyron does not categorize me as a fanboy. I am stating facts and meerly pointing out that SSC made an error.

And your argument indefinately makes no sense considering that speed I posted of the SSC is still faster than that of the Veyron. A Veyron fanboy would have posted a speed slower than the Veyron's. If you are going to insult, do it correctly. :)

It does not take a lot of brain power to know that bying foreign goods does nothing for us but weigh the usa down with useless over priced junk, I will admit some auto's are nice but the majority is a useless wast of metal, plastic, rubber Ecc...and when people take pride in there own country things always get better. Even in games the top cars are always foreign auto's way over priced and always the same thing over and over. Every racing game the same thing same cars. Now we got even more foreign scrap metal coming in the form of cheaper cars but still the same thing. we need more of the older cars good american cars from 20's 30's 40's 50' 60's. after the 60's there is not many good cars left lol but some people have never had a chance to truly enjoy time with this class of Auto's...[Bottom Line Is I'm Proud To Be American]

I completely agree with you if we are talking about cars we are actually going to buy. But, this thread is about what cars you want on a game. It's not talking about what cars you want to actually buy.

Porsche would be a great addition to the game. But, Porsche is hard to get licensing for...very hard actually.

No questions are dumb, unless you ask what color grass it, then I might worry about you lol.

If I had the PC version of TDU, then I could do all the rebadging I wanted with the endless modding possibilities on there. However, I play the xbox version. It lacks a way in which to mod the game.

i would love to see like a jeep cj or some other 4 wheel drive vehicle that can go places that the normal cars of the game cannot. there are a multitude of areas that are next to impossible for a supercar to go. maybe even a utv type vehicle.
