Are these the private forums that 'Beta Test Admin' enabled on our account? If not does he email the people to let them know that their forum name has been activated to view the private forums? I emailed him/her yesterday once I got my beta acceptance email and havn't gotten anything back yet- just wondering.

These are not the private forums. BTA will email testers once the private forum is available and the tester has access for activation. There may be some delay due the number of testers required in any given test. If you do not receive the email with private forum information today, email Betatestadmin for assistance.

I received the forum link from the Beta Test Admin too... but when I try to go there it doesn't let me.

So, I came here instead to the public portion and when I clicked on the link there it reads "The Beta Toolset is over" or something to that effect. Has this already come and gone?

Well, takeing into note that BTA is off word on the weekends, you will probably be stuck waiting to this Monday to be granted access. :)

My reply to the "welcome to the beta test"-e-mail was another "welcome to the beta test"-e-mail. :weird:

I included the original sender's message in my reply but, as it asked, I included my username for them to play with..

As they normally have to add each user to a forum one at a time, I'm sure it will take time for them to grant everyone access. Since they are asking for usernames via email, and not a form on the forums, I can't see how they'd be able to automate it.

Plus, it's the weekend. Let the guy have the weekend off with his family :)

yes since it's sunday, I assume poor BTA gets a day off. At least I hope so :) I'm just as impatient as the rest of you to get started, but sheesh, let the poor man have a day or two off!

He also has a job, duties of which include more then just forum accounts. He is still having to wrap up the Test Drive Unlimited beta.

I replied with my freemail client .. the atari forums are blocking mail via freemail clients .. so im kinda scared that my mail will never arrive @BTA .. ouhouh ..
