NO GARAGE MANAGMENT TOOLS?????

Devs. Why is there no interface where I can freely manipulate my cars between my homes?

Have you not played PGR on the 360?

I would think that with the ability to own literally dozens of homes and almost 100 cars you would've included a robust managment utility with which we could freely switch our cars from one house to the next.

I do not understand that "list" tool that is currently in the garage. It seems to serve little to no purpose.

I want all my supercars at one house, and all my crappy slow cars at another house.

Is it possible to include an interface for this in a future patch?

There is a way to swap cars in your garage. Unfortunately I'm at work right now, and I don't remember how. It has to do with the list feature if I remember correct. It's not a very advanced thing, but it does it's job.

GREAT! I would love for someone to show me how to use that thing. So far as I can tell the list utility has allowed me to re-order the list in the current garage, which as far as I can tell just changes the physical location of where the car is sitting in the currnet garage. But I can't actually select a car from one hosue and swap positions with a car in another. Perhaps this is how it's supposed to function, but it hasn't thus far. Bugged perhaps?

I'm at work too so I can't properly remember exactly how it functioned, I just remember wanting to throw my controller at my screen when I concluded that the only way to get all my cars under one roof was to sell one of my houses last night. :weird:

So I did that... and it crashed the game. :weird: :weird:

Go in any garage and hit the Left Bumper... Brings up a list of your cars, and you can do some stuff with them.

yea all you have to do is hit LB and the x to pick the car and then hit a to swap the cars and there you have it !!

Sorry guys I've tried that. LB just switches the location of the cars in the list, never the house. Maybe my stuff is bugged?

Even if I could get that to work, what I'm really looking for is a 'MOVE' function. What happens when someone wants to move 10 different cars from 4 different houses all under one roof? Let's say I have a garage with a 10 car capacity. I should just be able to pull up a quick menu select all my cars and say, 'put them all here' Click! Done.

The system they currently have won't allow you to do this.

Can you imagine what kind of nightmare inventory management will become when you've got 15+ houses and 60 cars?!?!

Seriously, I kinda feel like inventory management should've been addressed almost as seriously as navigating the island. I mean it's such a large component to the game. Why on Earth would you do such a wonderful job with the map and then come up with some dinky list?

I think that this should've had its own top-level menu system once you're in the house. To me it's just as important as the "info" category. The garage as it currently exists is largely superfluous.

Am I the only one who’s been having problems with this?

I agree though..it should have been more classy...and it would have been a lot of fun to look through other people's garages... like by highest value, or most cars, etc.

swapping cars from house to house won't work if you're currently in one of the cars being moved/swapped/switched. it will just beep and won't allow you to move the selected vehicle.

When you're in the list function (left bumper from the Garage tab) from any of your homes, you can choose any car from any house to take for a drive. So you should have minimal problem locating and using a specific car.

I do agree that it would be nice to not have to just swap vehicles but actually move them.

It's still annoying as there is no way (that I can find, at least) to sort the list into a logical order other than the default order 'by house'. Being able to sort the list by manufacturer, and/or vehicle class would be extremely useful.

The short answer is no. You must move each car individually.

I think the problem you're having stems from not having cars currently parked in the locations you wish to move the cars to, as you cannot move a car to an empty slot.

The quickest fix is to fill up all garages, then you can move them around at will within the homes you own.

A better sorting system would be nice, I agree.
