Another way to take part in the online community is through the creation of custom challenges. Through the game editor, players can create a race of their own and upload it to the Drive-in on the island. Once there, the challenge is free for everyone to download and try. The servers will keep track of which challenges have the most activity. Each week, the top 50 challenges will become available physically on the island. The 25 most raced challenges will be available both physically on the island and be featured on the map, similar to developer created races. Inactive challenges will drop out of the top list, be removed from the island and exist only in the Drive-in once more. Ones that haven't been accessed even once during the week will be deleted from the Drive-in entirely to help prevent the list from being cluttered with senseless challenges that nobody wants.
Finding the location of another player to race was a fairly easy affair. Actually getting there is another situation entirely. You can call up a list of who is on the island with you or see their exact location by bringing up the map and filtering it to find them. You can then choose to directly warp to their location, provided you've already been there at least once. We had a little difficulty with this fast travel since it will warp you to where the person was, but they're in a car and will probably have moved by the time the game loads you at the new location. If you're trying to track down a specific friend this way, you might find driving to be a simpler affair.
