I love this game!!! But not sure if this can be implemented in a update for the game but is there anyway to remap the buttons ourselves instead of the four controller configs? I love setting number 3 but I would love to steer with the D-Pad (not sure if thats the correct name) instead of the left analog stick. I am so use to the controls on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for the PS2 where you could steer with the D-Pad or the analog stick. If this is anyway possible, you guys rock!!!

0/100% or 0-100% turn ability... 0-100 wins. But yes i would like fully mappable buttons... in ALL X360 games. It can't be that hard to set up, considering we have a profile for the game, harddrive or memory cards to store the config on. its not like letting us config buttons will cause a problem.

Racing with the D-Pad would be like playing a FPS with the keyboard only. Why would you want to gimp yourself like that? Pick up your skirt, grab your balls, and learn how to use the damn analog stick.

Obviously you don't know anything about giving the user options when customizing their gameplay experience. The analog stick is at times, too sensitive and I prefer the D-Pad over it any day. The D-Pad gives the car more precise adjustments in steering then the stick any day. Go back and hang out with the masses and use the stick like the rest of them.

If the analog stick is too sensetive then turn down the steering sensitivity... I think it is fine the way it is. You do realize that with analog, you can turn as much as you want? How is tapping the d-pad to make a light turn ever better than tilting the analog stick a little bit?

As for the D-Pad being precise, it is anything but. This is why they started using analog.

D-Pad = On/Off switch (On - turning 100%/Off - not turning)
Analog = 0-100% (hold the stick halfway, you are turning at 50% of the maximum)

Everyone had to deal with learning how to use the analog sticks. Once you are comfortable with it, it will improve your game a lot.

Good luck.

agree. once you learn not to jam on the stick like a tard it actualy has the best control second to going to a wheel. i actualy wish they would have made the acceleration and the brake on the right thumbstick like on gran toursimo. it is weird at first accelerating with the right analog but it gives you FAR FAR FAR superior braking control. you can barely use your brakes or you can slam on them if there is a wreck out of nowhere.
