I've recieved a review edition of TDU which doesn't contain any manual, and I have a bit of a problem.
Even if I drive an A-class car, there are certain A-class races, that I cannot participate in. The class requirements in these races are outlined with red an look a bit different. I have no idea what that means. Help anybody?

Are you sure you're high enough rank? Many of the races require both a car class and a particular rank.

Ahh ... I didn't realise that the system showed me missions beyond my rank. I thought that only mission that I could attend were visible.

As far as I know the game isn't suppose to. No "Class A Only" races showed up on my map until I hit champion level.
If you are talking about the race showing with a red square and a cross through it, then maybe you aren't currently driving the car needed to participate in the race? That't the only time I've seen anything red on a race is if I'm in the wrong car.

Nope, that isn't it. The symbol for the class (for example A, B, D-F) looks slightly different, and even if I'm driving a Koenigsegg (never mind spelling) - a Class A car - the message simply is, that my car doesn't meet the requirements for the race.
Normally the symbol for the class is a letter within a square. But with these races it's not a square - it's more like a blurred, red outline.
Well, I just hope the problem solves it self. I thought it was something I had missed because I don't have a manual. I downloaded the "manual"-video, but that was much more like a salespitch and not very informative.
