View Full Version : [Sunglasses] Bug, Feature or Oversight?

One would think that with the character wearing sunglasses in game (of apparently, varying shades of light-filtering ability), the glare while in cockpit would vary. This doesn't appear to be the case, when trying different pairs of glasses.

Is this a bug, feature, or oversight in the game's coding?

Yeah, I've had the same problem. I changed my shoes in the Ben Sherman shop and now I can't feel the accelerator or brake pedals. My friend changed his boxer shorts and is experiencing chafing whilst driving a car with leather seats. He also has problems parking his Mercedes because the gull-wing doors catch against the car next to him... what a stupid post!!!!!

btw, yesterday I drove the gallardo spyder wearing only a t-shirt and it seems I've now caught a cold. :D

I think you have to wait another 10 years before features such as these are added. I mean If you wanted everything to be exactly like real life then why not drive a real car with sunglasses? I mean next gen games are impressive and maybe they could have done it but that just seems like a waste of programing time to me.

Hey - this is for people to post their feedback.

Accepting that this isn't exactly a priority 1 use of programming time - I'd then ask the question why bother with the whole shop thing at all? Just have a menu and select your option.

The reason it's in there is to increase engagement and immersion - the original poster was just saying what he'd want to take it further. He's no worse than the anal folks worrying about gear ratios :-)

Actually, I'm looking for a way to reduce the glare in the game. Sometimes it's just too much, and if the character's are supposed to wear sunglasses, then they oughta work. ;)

I agree that would be a neat little feature to have in the game, but since it's not there I think you should just try and change your display settings to a little darker and see if that helps with the glare.

Another neat feature would be for the drivers to actually pull the E-brake while using it but o well this game is still awesome.

I think the game is super awesome myself. I also agree that it is the beginning of a concept that hopefully will go so much further. There is a lot to be improved on here, an the sunglasses idea as as good as many. I have also thought of this when driving in some of the high glare scenarios. If they can regulate the game to put the glare in, they can reduce it as well.
