Custom Scenery Help

I made a piece of scenery for rct3, everything worked fine unitl I click install theme, the importer says it's been succesfully installed but I cant find the scenery in the program Files. Can anyone help?

Which version of the importer did you use? jonwils original and DragonsIOAs modified version have a bug, you need to click install several times. I fixed this bug in my importer mod.

You should check in your "C" drive & see if there's a "Themed" file in there, sometimes the importer will install the theme there. If it's there, you can just copy/paste it into the correct folder in the game files.

Indeed, I forgot about that. But it's only 'C' if this is where you have your theme (or maybe the importer, I'm not sure since had both on 'F' when this last happened to me). Just use my version (see sig) and forget about the bug =)

Maybe you made an error in moving it, see this post (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7972331&postcount=4) how it should look like. If something is missing, just delete it and reinstall out of the importer.

can you show a picture of it in your 3d modeler? also i think the error your getting is caused by the icon texture.

^ well since your using sketchup it will look funny for quite a while, another tihng is...it doesnt look like the object is textured.make sure you have a texture... or...well i dont know what will happen but i dont think it will work.

You need to get Milshape, Export from Sketchup as 3DS - Import Into Milkshape - Centre and rotate the object - Texture It - Export as 3DS - Convert to ASE and so on...
