Ok. First of all I think this game is the ****. That is if everything that was supposed to work actually worked! I bought this game the day it came out, and all I could think was that I had purchased a defective copy. I then got online and figured out that not only everyone else was having these problems, but that there were a whole bunch more problems that I didn't even know about. I don't know about you guys but I'm fed up with companys putting out half ass games and promising to fix them later with patches!!! This also brings me to believe that Marketplace is also not a good idea for consumers. For instance PGR3. You buy the game for a ridiculous $60 already and via marketplace you spend another twent to thirty dollars for bull**** car expansions that should already be in the game anyway. I better see a fix for this game soon or I'm taking it back to the store claiming manufacturer defect. It's a shame to because this game is sooooo close to what I've always wanted in a racing game and these problems are killing it for me!

FIGURE IT OUT ATARI!!!!!!!

I'm sure alot of people here would like to help you.....But in your post not once have you mentioned what exactly you are having probs with. The first patch helped alot and I know the next will sum up the rest of the issues I hope, but we cant fix your probs if we don,t know what they are....:)

I didn't think I needed address the problems. THIS ENTIRE FORUM HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT THEM FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW! But if you need me to mention them so you feel better than so be it. I cannot buy or sell cars to people online, which was one of the coolest features in my mind on the game. I also cannot join a club or start a club and have people join. There are problems with the drive in, and finding friends online. There. Now can you please do something about this before I return this game. Companys need to stop sending out half-completed games and say well fix it later. Get it right the first time!! At least you guys could tell us when these problems well be addressed. It doesnt have to even be a concrete timeline, ballpark would be fine. GIVE US SOMETHING!!!!!!

I have played games that havn't been patched in about 6 months wit hmajor problems atari took less then a week to fix major issues are supose to release another patch to fix the rest very soon. Also This is a new type of game there was bound to be bugs there always in in massive games like this. They can't afford to pay 100,000 people to test it. Also I think the reason games come out with more and more bugs isn't because they are doing a half ass games. ( well except for EA they do half ass jobs ;) ) Anyways It is because games are getting more and more complex then they use to be so companies are pushing the technology. I think atari is doing a great job and kudos to them for the excellent response time with this game.

I agree 100%. These guys are probably getting sleepless nights trying to figure out the bugs (Probably not... but woth a guess eh?) but you can tell they are working on it. If you don't like some of the glitches... all I can tell you is get rid of the game, one less customer won't hurt thier job.
