3x1 poster

i know, your all gona say wrong bit, but this stupid forum wont let me log in and wont even let me change my....... oh never mind...

i just want to know, what is the best way to make a multi poster sign? coz i want to put

on a 3 long by 1 high poster, but i dont know how, any help...?

Try resizing it to something like 600 pixels wide by 200 high (or 300X100...you just want it 1 unit high by 3 units wide.)

Then I just use my crop tool set to 200X200, I crop it so just the left 1/3 of it is chosen, then I save that using 'left' or '1' in the name, then undo the crop, slide the crop tool over to line up with the second third, crop it, save as 'middle' or '2', undo, then slide over to the far right side, crop, save as 'right' or '3'.

actually, the ratio of that logo is more like 2x1, not 3.

^Actually it's 1x1.74....so yeah, it definetely won't fit on a 3x1 ratio.

You're right, but he said he wanted to make it fit on a 1X3 billboard so that's what I told him. He'd have to put up with the image being distorted. I use Paintshop Pro myself, but other programs also allow you to crop.
