Also I had been playing for a while so it could be becuase of the heat not sure. Also After i took the game out and tried sending lots of text messgaes from the dashboard it never froze again weird could It be the game? Thanks to anyone who replys. oh yeah sorry one more thing the funny thing is when the guide freezes the game continues to play lol like the music is still going and you can see the trees going back and forth etc...

Yes. Although this issue seems to occur with other games as well. I think this is a general X360 issue. Unfortunately, TDU has more freezing issues than the ~ 30 other titles I have played on X360.

I've had it freeze a numerous times on the GPS Map screen and also when free-riding. When mine freezes, it freezes solid though.

It seems to help if you limit yourself to using the Guide Blade from the pause screen or when you are not actually driving (in house, dealer, club, etc.).

The only time it froze for me was when I was checking someone's profile in my car club.

oh ok so is it a known issue by microsoft?

I've had freezes all over the place. When calling the Guide to send/reply to friends. I've had the game freeze on me when I was hauling a$$ around an intersection during a Top Model single player mission and the console locked solid.

Like shaken_bacon sez, this might be a console issue. Two of my friends had to return their X360 for the dreaded four red light issue.

oh ok so is it a known issue by microsoft?

Known. Most definitely. Since the console debuted. Some consoles seem to be worse than others.

Have M$ done anything about it? Doesn't appear so.

At least defect and warranty claims are being handled, albeit quietly. It is good idea to get some kind of extended warranty like those offered by Best Buy... that way, if/when it does crap out, you can just get a new one without having to go through the 1,001 questions from X360 tech support.

lol yes ive tried that "intercooler" and well for me at least its caused more problems then it's solved in terms of the "ring of death" and sometimes just not even starting up.

do you beat your xbox360 with a hose or something :bulb: This is my first time it has frooze before never ring of death though (knocks on wood.) My question is where do you have your xbox located? Is it in a room with little ventalation? is it on a wood floor? in back of a cabnet? If you have gone through four you may want to consider why and if you are threating it fine then:bulb: :bulb: :bulb: horrible luck. I assue they were under warrenty though

it's in a very well ventilated area right under my tv;) or in my entertainment table basically not in a closed one though if im making any sense lol, and theres plenty of space for it to breathe nothing blocking air flow. Also the psu supply is above ground (rasied a bit) so air can get around that as well. lol and yes i can assure you i am treating them just fine.
