Ok, so here comes the flame war. Because I know some people just don't care about this....
The devs need to do something about griefers...or whatever you'd call them in this game. You know, they drive around trying to ram you off the road constantly. I had one guy keep trying for like 10 minutes last night.
Ican't help but notice that there are no achievements for this.....could it be because it's childish? Seriously, I thought the reccomended age for playing this was 10 and up.
There should be a system in place just like the police meter...only this one will be a multiplayer meter. Have it charge HEAVY fines for repeat offenders....like 500k and up. And if you don't have the cash, no problem! Every dime you make goes towards paying it until it is paid in full.
Hey....I'm not saying these children shouldn't be allowed to pull this crap....just make them pay severely for it. It would lower the number of idiots out on the road.
Thanks.

I can understand what your saying it must be frusterating personally I havn't exprienced this but i dont think there is much a dev can do and even if they can i dont think they would bother its unfortunant lol or you could always fight fire with fire and ram the lil suckers off the road too lol

They can implement a system like the one above. It would solve the problem for the most part. Most of these morons won't race over and over again to get 500k-1million just so they could go ram a few people.

yeah like i said They could do it but most likly they wont prbly too much of a hassel it really is unfortuant that there a a few idiots that like to run around doing things like that and ruin the game for others.

An "Ignore" function would be nice. You tell the game to ignore that player, and he just won't show up any more. You won't see him, and he won't see you. Eventually, he'll be driving around the island alone. His problem.
That's one of the reasons I'm not terribly interested in playing online.

SInce you can target players local to your specific area in free ride (keep perssing left on the D-pad) why not just add the feature to remove that player from your instance of the game.
It's funny how you can't get rid of the jerks out there but when you try to hook up with a friend you can lose him just by looking at the gps map.

Has anyone actually been able to connect to the TDU servers since about 12am (midnight Fri morning)?
It went offline for me and I haven't been able to connect since.
This sort of thing doesn't surprise me. Happens to all online multiplayer games.
I think in the ONLINE options screen, there are options to disable online interactivity. Haven't had a problem so far so not sure what that means- does it take you offline or disable collision detection.

I like the idea of locking them out of existence for you. After enough people did that, they would be pretty much alone. Also make it so it locks them out of any multiplayer even hosted by or containing someone who has locked them out. Abd trust me, this is not a small problem. Last night there must have been a hundred people doing idiotic crap like this. My friend just bought the game, and is trying to follow me around to learn the area and ge used to the unrealistic driving...and morons are ramming left and right, and following him around doing it over and over. What kind of lonely pathetic have no friends, never been liad loser do you have to be to get off on that?

I was able to connect without problems from Monday - late last night/early this morning.
The servers where completely down last weekend for me.
I hope they can meet the weekend capacity and maintain a decent level of uptime... it would be disappointing if I can't play online with my friends this weekend. :(

you know its not the devs fault about online players ever heard of the disclaimer "Game Experience may change online" because thats in the game they dont have to listen to you whine about random people in your server besides you can just jump to map and come back and puff losers are gone

I like the idea but I have got an easier solution (sorry didn't read all posts if it has been posted already I appologize.) Have it so you can deactivate collosions just like in multiplayer that way if you dont want to be smashed the players will drive right through you. Seems EASY beacuse the feature is already in the game how hard would it be to implement into the game?

Press the map button and warp to another server...
View recent players and submit player review to avoid that player.
Problem solved.
