Just wondering if the game is suppose to run 100% smooth at all times?

I noticed some slight stuttering, flickers in the framerate when doing a Model mission through downtown at high speed.

Depends on what you mean by "normal".. hehe.

It's not intentional, really.. it's a side-effect of less-than-perfect code optimization in the game, problems in loading the upcoming scenery fast enough, delays in getting physics feedback from the CPU, etc.

But, in the end, it's just the way the game is. As long as it's not to the point where it becomes unplayable, most developers will just "let it slide" that way.

I've noticed it here and there, but it's not that frequent, and never interferes with gameplay.

So I guess to answer your question, then yes.. it's normal for this particular game, and doesn't indicate anything wrong with your system.

Yeah I inquired again here cause I needed a definitive answer as to whether it was a game issue...Y'know before I replace the game and possibly my console.

Unfortunatly it seems that at least at this time in Xbox 360 game development we'll have some games which will have nice graphics but not a solid FPS (I herd Oblivion had framerate probs too). Which is unfortunate cause I think the whole pitch of the Xbox 360 and "Next Gen" thing was stunning graphics at high frame rates.

Kudos to the developers of RSC2. That was a great looking and playing game.
