Don't call it stupid, your're not the only one. Look in your Themed folder, look in the folder, click the folder inside, drag all to desktop, then put them back in. That should fix it!!

this happens sometimes you just have to make sure you installed it correctly.

Oh boy, I am begining to wonder how many times we are going to answer this question before threads like this stop popping up. Use the search button it has mystical powers.

To be fair, I feel quite offended by the title of the thread. Do you have a clue how much work it is to make scenery? And how many times there is a stupid problem/error that's getting on your nerve, but it needs solved?
I know you are annoyed it didn't work for you,but all you did is downloading it! If you would have spent some time reading a stickie, the problem should be easily resolved...
Since I started doing scenery, I had to reinstall RCT and extension pack several times, as I experimted and moved the wrong folders... that is a lot of work.
If it is too much work for you, to get the folders sorted, than just play without CS...

But did you get the scenery to work? After all that's why you posted here. I personally would like to know that everyone is enjoying all the great new scenery out there. It is true that there are a lot of threads from a myriad of members who are having problems getting the scenery to work.

There are some broken pieces in some sets that will crash your game. There are many more that work without a problem. You might find that your game crashes long after you've started using custom scenery- Save Your Park Often!. Try to figure out what piece is crashing the game- the more info we have as scenery makers, the more we can do to fix these problems. If you go into the Game Options you will find a setting to turn On/Off Full Screen Mode. If you set the game to Not Full Screen (Windowed Mode) then there is a chance that you can prevent a crash (in full screen mode, the error box gets locked up behind the game screen, in windowed mode, the error box can be cleared and you should be able to continue playing)

Some sets are just the folder and included files/subfolders saved in a ZIP or RAR that you have to manually move into the Style\themed folder. Others are self installer type files that automatically copy the folder and included files/subfolders into the right directory (might be a problem if you copy of RCT3 is not in the default directory). This can be daunting to any player who knows little about the file structure in a computer.

Some sets may also be in other languages, with file and folder names in French, Greman, etc. Do Not Change The Names Or Even Add/Remove Spaces. The set will not work.

RCT3 scans all of it's directories when it first loads, indexing the files it has to play with. Do Not Keep Your Downloaded ZIP, RAR, EXE, etc. Files In Any Directory That RCT3 Uses. This includes the RCT3 folder found in "My Documents" as well as the Game directory folder found in "Program Files". Save all you downloads into a safe folder somewhere else.

You can easily add a new folder to your desktop by simply Right Clicking on a icon-free area and choosing New > Folder from the little menu that pops up, then naming it whatever you like. Save your downloads into this folder. For ZIP and RAR files you can simply extract them into this folder then delete the ZIp or RAR version. Exe file types should just double click and run.

You can also Make A Shorcut To The Themed Folder on your desktop:

Click My Computer > Drive C > Program Files You might have to OK viewing of the folder
Find and open Atari > RollerCoaster Tycoon 3
Find and Open the Style folder
Right Click and Drag the Themed folder onto your desktop
A menu pops up and click on Create Shortcut Here. Do NOT choose Move or Copy
Press ctrl+Z if you think you messed up (it undoes what you last did)

Now you have a shortcut right on your desktop to the themed folder (and a new folder for the downloads if you followed that suggestion). You can now just drag and drop the themes (unZipped or un-RAR'd) into the correct folder.

Most Scenery Authors include a readme.txt file in their download (I digress that I have not included one for my own sets). Open these files and read them- there might be important information inside about installing or using the set.

You should now have a better idea of what's going on and hopefully you will be able to start using these great new scenery sets :D

Ok I just got this to work. You need to delete it and do it agan or if you have two of the same files you need to delete one.
