custom booths.

Hi,
I have noticed while browsing there are some vending booths with tills behind them manned by peeps that are not in the original games, looked all over but cant find them anywhere, would anyone be as kind to give me a pointer, i have soaked by the way!

Do you have a pic? It is most likely the custom stall (Vanilla final patch, Soaked!), sometimes with a custom counter cover over it. Often a billaboard or custom sign is placed behind it.

Yeh i think they are the ones, vanilla patch? is that a mod or does it come with a game update? i have the uk version by the way.

do you have all the expansion?,if you do this might help...
its under generic stalls....

aha, thanks viperhawk, looks like i will need wild as there is an animal icon next to the custom stall, oh well here goes a purchase is looming !!!

I'm not so sure... I believe that at least some of those features were included in Gold (which is RCT+Soaked) Certainly the billboards were. In fact I think I got everything but the actual stuff that involved animals...

Those stalls are in the latest Vanilla patch, or Soaked!. Wild! just adds the animal button below it. I don't have Wild! and I use it, and I used it before I had Soaked!

like i said what is the "vanilla patch" i have seen this term used in other game forums (vanilla) but never knew what it meant? and i do have soaked installed but again its uk version...........would that make a difference?

The latest patch (#3 I think) for basic RCT3.

Sorry, missed that part. I didn't think the last patch worked for non-US versions, but Soaked! should have it.

This is doing my head in guys, i have had a browse round the forums and i came up with this,
" If you have any expansion packs you do not need to download update #3 as they are already included "

but they are not there, everything else that soaked! includes i can access no problem, but the custom stalls and billboards are not visible.
I have tried to update from the program/game menu but it says i am fully updated ??????

What now...HELP !!!

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling? They should be there. What about terrain tiles. Are they not there too?

yeh got the terrai tiles, like i said just the stalls and billboards missing, i will try uninstalling etc. and ill let you know how it goes, back soon.

It wont let me uninstall just soaked keeps saying im gonna have to uninstall the whole shabang, so im gonna have to back up all my custom scenery etc. so looks like a job for tomorrow, thanks to all for your help i hope this will sort it!!

Ok i have uninstalled and re-installed, and now my game is not even recognised as "EU retail", everything works fine apart from the stalls and billboards not being there (whats new) also says i am fully updated, tried regedit and altering value to "USA" and downloading US updates, still no good............humph!!!!
Only thing that might work is one of you guys could send me the game files for the stall and billboard, are they "ovl" or something? let me know where to put em and see if that works, if not i will just have to do without but im not going down without fighting !!!!
