No svd: for sid: issues are usually caused by an installation mistake.

oh i figured that out a long time ago its just unziping it creates a new folder so you open that folder and there is the same named folder as the first this is what creates the problem
AFTER DOWNLOADING OPEN FLODER AND CUT THE FIRST THING YOU SEE INTO THE STYLES/THEMED FOLDER THERE NO MORE PROBLEMS

Anyways, I've installed it to the exact locations that are cerated by Atari, so I don't know how it could be a installation problem.

I have only one layer of folders. (I've looked at all the tutorials, uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing works.)
Wait a minute, do you have Wild!, if so what CD do you use.

I don't believe options.txt has anything to do with that. As said, this error means something went wrong duing installatinon of CS.
Have a look here (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7972331&postcount=4).

When custom scenery first started I had the No svd: for sid:error a couple times, but after learning how to make sure the sets are properly installed I have never had another error happen...and I have downloaded all the custom scenery on the pinned list.
The fact that the majority of people have downloaded and currently use these sets (and some have been downloaded thousands of times), would lend itself to the idea that it's not a problem in the options or the coding, but more likely has something to do with installation because that is one area where there is a variable in the process...some people unzip directly into the Themed folder, some use an exe to install, some (myself included) always unzip to desktop FIRST and then move the files by hand.

So I have to uninstall, make sure EVERYTHING is deleted, ant then reinstall it.
And should i try adding in custom scenery with just the base game, or what

Remove all custom scenery and make sure when you reinstall them that the directory structure is like I posted above.

Ok i have had the same error no svd for sid all the time and it only happens on that expedition everest pack that i downloaded a few days ago. Everything else works it's just that one pack. www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=517796
That is the adress to it and could someone analyze it to tell me what's wrong. I did follow his instructions.
