View Full Version : Battle for Survival Budokai 2 Tournament I (Gamecube Edition)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm here to announce a CPU VS CPU Tournament of wits and survival. While other tournaments are going on, I'm hosting this type. Heres how it goes:

Each fighter will start with a Full Senzu Bean, allowing them a second wind during the fight. This gives 4 slots of space for other capsules. Because this is one of my first tournaments and currently experimental, 8 are allowed to participate. Be aware that if this gets enough participants or to a point where y'all enjoy it, I will host another one in the future.

That is all I have to mention for now. You may now participate. I will check each post, to determine who is participating. I will do this in an orderly manner.

4. Goku6987 - Frieza (Death Ball, Death Wave, Death Beam, Frieza's Space Ship)
5. SS4UltimaVegeta - Goku (King Kai First 20X, Super Saiyan, Warp Kamehameha, Super Dragon Fist, Senzu Bean)

umm, is freiza's space ship allowed??


or can you only use either a senzu bean or freiza's spaceship?

Thanks for telling me. Frieza's Spaceship is not allowed for this tournament, at this moment at least. However, in a future tournament like this, I might permit the usage of such capsules (in place of Senzu Beans).

Next possible tournament I'll be hosting will be a different kind of tournament after this tournament finishes. It might become an experimental type of tournament. Thats all the news for now.

Edit: I forgot to mention, 4 slots for anymore possible participants left before the tournament begins.

I hope that you’ll be able to fill those places up... it seems a little dead this place since schools started... :(

Yeah, I noticed that. If I'm unable to reach the 8 mark, at least I can start it off with 4 participants. Its a good thing I didn't set it to 16 entries, otherwise wouldn't be able to start.

As you may notice, the list I have in my first post updates each time. Tournament has not yet started. I will start it soon, haven't decided on a true date yet.

Unfortunately, breakthrough takes 7 slots. Not possible to use Breakthrough with Senzu Beans. Fusion capsules can't be used either, due to the space they require. In the next tournament however, you'll be able to use Breakthrough (without any restriction) or even fusion. Absorption for Super Buu is possible however, since it requires less than 4 slots I believe.

mybad than put me under frieza and insted of the bean put his sapceship it takes up 4 slots too, and put in death beam,wave, and ball

If I can get ahold of the Frieza's Spaceship Capsule before the tournament begins, I might allow such a replacement. Someone wondered about that too. Originally, I was going to hold off the usage of such a capsule. I decided to allow it (as long I collect it in time).

Multiple people may use Frieza's Spaceship, as long they don't imitate your configuration however. Each person's configuration must be unique. Any cheers from fans of Frieza about now being allowed to use Frieza's Spaceship in place of Senzu Bean? :)

Oh yeah, if anyone needs to edit their configuration, feel free to before the tournament begins.

I will begin the tournament soon. Right now, a couple of busy things with life are going on right now. Also haven't got the chance to play much Budokai 2. Hopefully, I get it hosted soon however. I'll make sure to keep y'all updated as possible as time permits.

Sorry for a long disappearance from posting. I haven't got the chance to get the Frieza's Spaceship Capsule recently, but will get it done before the tournament. The good thing about this delay though is, y'all might be able to see this tournament by December 2006. Because holidays (at least where I live) normally occur during that month for people in school and work, it will certainly be the best possible time for me to start it.
