View Full Version : Who Things that in Tenkaichi 3, there should be fusion timers?

I don't want to sound like a boring person, but fusions look cheap in BT2, and I was wondering if there should be a timer like in B2 and B3, but you could still fuse when it wears off, and the fusions could be stronger when you fuse in this game. So, what do you think?

i9f they do happen to make timers
then imma have to say the timers be 30 minutes
just liek the anime
or at least 15 minutes then :D

Nah... Fights dont last 15 min. 5 v 5 matches last for about 8-12 min. Fusions during the tv series last about 1-2 episodes [20-40min] (estimating for DBZ (not GT) ). Taking that into consideration, normal 1 v 1 fights in the game last about 1min - 2min. So I would think that a good 45s-1min of fusion would be a fair amount.

fusion could last a good 5-10 minutes, because all the 5v5s weve seen, everyone has only 4 bars of health, where u can have 10(or 9) bars of health total, which would double the battles length:up:

Well I guess, yes to the timers. The only upgrade they should do is make a good equivalent time of how long the fusions would last. Like in Buu's Fury, Fusions were 5:00 minutes long, but that was because it was an action/adventure game. For BT3 probably they should make it a good 2:00 minutes and when it's tag team, like a good 5:00 minutes or so for a 5 vs. 5 match and when you tag out obviously your timer won't keep running.:up: Any better suggestions feel free to correct me.:up:

I like 15 minutes, but then they would have to have the little damage from Tenkaichi for punches and make energy attacks less damaging and have 10 health bars per person. Then you can get your 15 minutes fusion. They could also make it so there is barely any damage when you punch.

Timers, yes, to keep it real. I think about 90 seconds is reasonable enough, and then you have to wait 60 seconds before doing it again.
yeah, 90 seconds sounds good.

timer yes, but different times for different fusions:
- Gotenks............ 5 min
- Gotenks SSJ...... 3 min
- Gotenks SSJ 3.... 1 min 30 seconds
- Vegetto............ unlimited
- Vegetto SSJ....... unlimited
- Gogeta............. 2 min
- Gogeta SSJ 4..... 45 seconds
the time between attacks is not counted so 45 seconds are more then enough!
But if you start as fusion-character there should be no timer.

Yes but the time they get to stay in game should be according to power and they should still be selectable in free fights (without timers).

I THINK SUPER #17 SHUD B A FUSION CHARACTER THUS WE CAN SEE ANDROID #17 AND ARTIFICIAL #17 FUSE... SAME GOES FOR SUPER #13, IT WUD B GREAT TO C THE FUSION NOT JUST A TRANSFORMATION... HOPEFULLY ANDROID #15 AND #14 R IN THIS GAME!

Kuricoloken is right. That is exactly what the should have.
I personally wouldn't like to have timed fusions, but in cases like this, when there is a strong side supporting yes and no, you should simply add it as an option.

I think if they add a timer it should be 3 minutes but if you pick a fused character to start with they should stay in that state but have the ablity to de-fuse and refuse but if they refuse they should be under the limit of the timer

Well if we are going to be all smart about this... i think that when you fuse you should have to press a random series of buttons that appear up on screen. eg like on God Of War.
If you get the series of buttons wrong you become the fat bloated version for 3 mins, if you get it right you well become a lot more powerful for 3 mins

I think there should be a timer but only 5 minutes and porta earrings should be no timer.

Out of subject, but I wish they would make the game more accurate in terms of Super Saiyang meaning if youre hurt enough you transform back into a normal saiyan. Same thing goes Ooazaru. When you are battle damaged, you lose your tail, and transform back into a normal saiyan. I also think your timer idea should be in the option section, meaning you could turn it on or off, instead of just keeping it on all the time.

Gotenks and Gogeta should have a 5 minute limit, and if your playing as SS3 Gotenks, he automaticly returns to base form during the last 30 seconds. SS4 Gogeta should have a 2 minute time limit, then he wont be 'broken'. And of course Vegito should be perminant.

5 minutes? Dude no one takes that long to finish a battle :bored: and if they do...they suck...a lot...and that's if they're still alive by 5 minutes

I dont want it. I hated that about the Budokai Series.
I mean, how realistic is Chaotzu doing damage to Omega Shenron? Get used to it.
