white sands tropical island

here's a park i finished just a day, or so, ago i named white sands tropical island. to me, the mountain in the middle doesn't seem to fit in. it has loads of trees that may all look the same but they're not. i used adventure-themed trees. most are the same with a few other different ones put in.

thanks. do you think the mountain fits, or not? to me it somehow doesn't. i could try one without a mountain but i wouldn't have a place for a waterfall. :bulb:

good park great but im not sure what to think of that mountin on one shot it looks really good but on another shot it dosent look as good im not sure what to think

The mountain doesn't really look like it fits now, but you should still have a mountain. Make the slope more gradually, spreading it out at the base, maybe use some mixed terrain coloring too. It looks weird to have the waterfall at the very top, I think you should move the waterfall to a lower down ledge and put something else at the peak. I really like the jungle, but where are you going to put the rides and stuff?

I remember a while back when I was on a boat trip in my friends 26 foot cabin cruiser, up the coast of British Columbia. While on that trip we stopped at this island called Castle Island, a fly speck on the chart really. It was an island very much like your. It stuck out of the sea at least 200 or 300 feet in total. There is a fresh water lake in the center of the island and a waterfall falls right on the beach when the tide is out. when the tide is in you can run the boat right under the waterfall and give it a bath. Lot' of old logging artifacts strewn about the island, relics from just after the turn of the century.

Your island with the waterfall reminds me of this. I like your mountain and wouldn't change it. How about using it as a platform for an incredible roller coaster that cold do stuff like run around the top of the lake and run rings around the top of the mountain, even through tunnels, and back down the sides again. If not a coaster then a people mover type ride.

I have an idea of using a roller coaster as a people mover with more than one station. this way the peeps would take the coaster across the park. Better than walking. ;) :noob: :bulb: I have one like this in the works already.

i'm keeping it as it is although i think the mountain looks out of place. i just wanted something for a waterfall to flow from. i'm not sure what, if anything, is wrong with the waterfall. :confused: this park is more, or less, finished. i may add a ride, or 2, within the trees. not sure. i feel if i have a coaster going through the mountain it'll ruin the mountain with all the holes that would appear.

i think you should add 1 coaster. Dont make it go through the mountain though. make it go around the island and maybe swoop around the mountain. Im not sure if you want it but i was testing out Gimp and i made a logo:

i dont like the mountin
it need something
cause its very unrealistic
large thing with almost no smothness at all exept the fact that it is in a circle
and the rest of the land is flat! at least make it lower and a smothness between the mountin and the forest area

i like the idea of a 'coaster going around the island and the mountain. i may try that. it'd be a pretty lengthy 'coaster, though.

If you don't want the mountain, you could maybe replace it with a lake so it could be an atoll.

i'm keeping it as is. i may do it differently in the future. what do you mean by "an atoll"? i don't follow. also, do you mean an island surrounded by water with a lake in the middle of the island where the mountain is? to me, that'd look odd.
