I dont get what atari is thinking. This is suppose to be the best driving game out right now. So they don't put the best car out right now and probably for most of our lifetime.

It probably is to fast for them to put it in!:D But honestly I wish they would, maybe for future DLC? I would love to actually hit 250+ in a Veyron! Or even just cruise around with it at 60mph...Of course the first S7 owner that scratched it, I would have to kill them.

also great information on Veyron Frontman, but you left out one little minor detail. Its a quad-turbocharged and intercooled W-16.

It's wayyyyy too fast. They would need to make a fake version of the Veyron thats about as fast as the McLaren F1. Besides, you wouldn't want to see 8 Veyrons driving around at the same time, It would be even worse then the Saleen. :bulb:

so they should only put in like a 1/10 of how many people are playing. Everyone can get on a waiting list but it gets picked randomly so who gets the car is even. Then they can put more on the marketplace for good amount of points so it discourages them to buy or do they have enough guts to pay 600+ points for a car.

Well if you don't want everyone to have the Veyron... Its price is as amazing as the car, the price suits the car in reel life! So why not the price suit the car in TDU! Im talking over 15 Million TDU $! That would make sence! And I ain't crazy. The price should suit the car, its looks, and preformance.

well we do got microsoft on our side, im sure if they know how bad everyone wants one, we will see it in FM2, TDU as DLC or PGR4. along with the buggati EB110 GT so they get full use of the lisence:up:

On the PGR3 message boards everyone said the same thing; that they wanted to see the Veyron, and the speculation was that Bugatti wont license the car out for use in video games... probably cuz they know it kicks so much @$$

Personally though, I would like to see the SSC Ultimate Aero TT in this game. I've heard they made the car for one purpose, and that was to beat the Veyron.

Im not sure the Veyron can go 374mph, or any other car can. Maybe it can go that fast, but all i know is that the Veyron is limited to its speed, around 253 mph.

The only reason the Veyron is limited to 253 is because of the possibility of tire failure, they dont have a tire that is up to the rating to handle anything faster then that....or well...i say they dont...nothing they put on a road driven car i would assume. A full tire change would cost as much as buying a new Viper just to have tires that are rated to go fast so they dont shred or pop from the pressure of them going around so fast...and not to meantion the possibility of a small pebble or slight bump.

also we have the saleen and the kegg right now that when tuned can nudge 270 (if you get in them races with no traffic and find a straight and long enough road)

and the game engine can barely keep up, some times im reaching road thats barely been rendered yet lol!

so i think if they put the veyron in, which they should, they should probably limit or not allow it to be tuned. it should just stay stock. then its 250mph + top speed would just be manageable

The Veyron is legendary. It is an icon. Godlike, and untouchable.

To put it into a video game, especially one such as TDU, would be to suggest it's common and widely available (even if most are aware that it isn't). It is a car meant to be driven by very select few. Not only an experience to drive, but a PRIVILEDGE.

A Veyron in a video game would hinder the image of the Veyron no matter what the circumstances.

Kudos to Bugatti for keeping it out of the virtual world.

i see the mclaren f1 more of a icon then the veyron, true veyron is faster and everything but the f1 was revolutionary, and as far as i can tell, just because it is in all these games, doesnt change the fact that they are rare cars, or doesnt hinder its legendary image at all. u cant go up to a guy that owns a veyron or f1 and say yea its a ok car, i own one in TDU or NFS or w/e. u would look and be a jackass. a car being in the game doesnt change how rare or unique or legendary it is, and im sure in time we will see the veyron in games.
