Fox Amusements Corporate Headquarters
November 4th West Des Moines Iowa-
Fox Amusements is pleased to announce today that we have completed the purchase of Woodland Park in Michigan.
"Woodland Park is a small regional amusement park which is smaller than most of the properties we have been looking at while considering new acquisitions," Jim Kirk President of Fox Amusements explained.
Kirk said, "What the park lacks in size we found that it makes up in quality and performance. This park is very well run but we see plenty of places to make operational and other improvements."
The park itself is only part of the acquisition Kirk went on to explain, "The Park only takes up about 1/3 of the total land involved in this transaction today so we have tremendous opportunity here for expansion in an established regional market."
Kirk also explained that while it is true Fox Amusements has been looking for a major multi-park acquisition they are very pleased at the opportunity that this property brings to Fox Amusements to continue to add diversity to the companies geographic reach and because this is such a well run park Kirk believes that, "We can pretty much hit the ground running here, seek out new life, new opportunities, boldly go where... sorry, we believe we can make this acquisition pay off right away."
Fox Amusements agreed to pay a total of $89,567 in RCT3 funds for the park and the surrounding land owned by the investors who ran Woodland for the past 25 years.
"We believe we can bring a lot to this region in a short time that would have taken the current management years to achieve," Montgomery Scott Vice President of engineering services and planning said. "We’ve got a lot of tricks up our sleeves yet," Scott said confidently.
More to follow shortly...

Sounds lucrative. I'll watch out for this. Looks to be another KiDFoX instant classic.

After the name Kirk, I immediately thought of that!! :haha: This park looks like it might be another KiDFoX masterpiece, in fact, it's already looking Uber Foxual. [Stupid Atari Hotkeys, I can't enter Alt+0+2+2+0 because it starts a search. :pout:

First of all, I would like to say that you are my favorite park builder in RCT3 Kidfox. Your parks always amaze me. Your realism is also always amazing, and most of all I find your architecture absolutely GORGEOUS.
I'll stop sucking up now and translate something for the forum members.
Fox Amusements agreed to pay a total of $89,567 in RCT3 funds for the park and the surrounding land owned by the investors who ran Woodland for the past 25 years.
Since a good size rollercoaster in RCT3 in about 20,000 dollars. This would then translate out to 20 million dollars in real life. So if Woodland Amusment was bought for the price of about 3 1/2 coasters in RCT3. Then the park in real life would cost 20 x 3.5. Thus giving a grand total of 70 million which actually sounds pretty realistic. Just another example of how realistic your are Kidfox. :haha:

Snap! Didn't catch this update.
I love how all of your parks have such a family friendly, yet daring atmosphere. Your coasters are so believable, and your terrain and foliage all blends in seemlessly.
Can't wait for the next update?

Wow, so nice looking!
I love the planning and thought you put into your park. It's so important to do, and there's always an obvious difference in the park when done right.
Great job on this, I see why they whisper your name in awe!

Very Cool! I realy like the style of this park. The wooden rollercoaster looks looks cotton candy at night. Is the Rob Zombie ride going to be a dark ride?

I can’t believe how many people I am finding on here that are from Iowa! I also live in Des Moines!
Great looking park! I am working on one right now that I hope looks as good as yours once I am through. I am very impressed.
I am somewhat new here thought and I do have one question for you. How did you get the woodie lit up like that? What CS did you use for it? Sorry if it was said earlier, I didn’t read everything just looked at your pics.
Anyway, keep up the great work, and maybe sometime we should meet up and share our love for this game!! HAHA just playin around.

Well,
Meeting up would depend on your age, I wouldn't mind meeting other adults, ( over 21 for example,) who love the game of course that could be a good time. I am an overall park enthusiast it is sort of a hobby not just RCT3 but the entire industry. I invest in it, I follow it closely and go to parks as much as I can. I would really like to have a local coaster club I visit several parks each year.
I just got my CedarFair Maxx Pass so I intend to visit as many CedarFair parks as I can this year. I have been to three of them so far, ValleyFair! is actually my home park now, Worlds of Fun and Knott's Berry farm which is close to my adopted home town of Huntington Beach California.
The lighting on the coaster, depends on what you mean. There are two things involved, Vodhin's spot lights and then there is the element that makes it look like the colors change on the woody. The colored light on the Corkscrew is a whole different matter, it is done the way we used to do it before custom scenery. I am showing a couple of things in this park, things with and without CS.
For everyone else,
I am surprised at you all, no one has mentioned what this park is obviously inspired from yet.
