Hi there,

my names chizzer and i'm makin my third recreation of alton towers (The other two have been succesfull believe it or not) I know there's lots of people tryin to create it, such as saywer and dudey brad. But i'm a alton towers nerd :-) and i know everything about it. Even how much coke costs. lol. But please can u contribute to this thread and when the park is finished u will get the download! :noob:

and many of your buildings look very blocky, and try to vary the trees you use

yeah its a bit blocky and dull. make sure you vary your rocks. rotate them 4 diff shape. mabey start again and spend time

in the real world trees arent all the same an don't all perfectly aline , alton towers is in a valley and most of the estate is forest , the lowest point of the park has to be the garden with the pagoda. and this doesnt remind me of it sorry to say and just looked your nemisis track layout is wrong sorry , i've got rcccgb's white nuckle video and the more recent coaster crazy both feature nemisis and john wardey even gives comentry of the ride as he rides it ,thats not what the ride is like or really looks like , (please use some oaks or somehting), and after the banked drop , it isnt so such a steep drop,then its followed by the barrel roll (aka inverted corkscrew) which unluckily for you comes at at an angle then rather than a droping banked turn you havea helix follwed by the sharpe droping banked turn which then cums up into a heartline spin passing under the small over banked turn,

seems it was kinda of an overstatement when you said you were an alton towers nerd , as any other alton towers nerd would be slagging off your park , i'm not an AT nerd im a coaster nutter , but i hope you take my advice as custructive critismism not moaning.

Nemesis can't be recreated! We've all tried. As soon as you put the turn from the station it goes wrong.

And nemesis cannot be created and if u havent rollercoasterob, rct dus not have the right trak peices wot so ever. And i'm a lot harder to criticise than talking about low life rct3 that sum people spend they're life doin (Obviously u lot) for 1, i have a life and don't spend every second of my life playin the far,far from perfect game. U can not get any of the themeing, like the trees. And by the way usfgeek, says u!!!

OI! dont go tellin us about what we do with our lives, for one i dont live on my pc i come on at night and do rct from time to time, i spend most my day at Epping forest college studying Engineering , or either at my local gym , west ham or doing wrestling. I play guitar , piano, go out with mates. And didnt you notice in my last post i mentioned that it was bad luck, since they didnt have the correct track pieces.

Most of us weren't slagging you off we were giving advice and constructive critism the point is that if you going to do something atleast it should be done well , trees don't perfectly aline and although it may be impossible to constuct nemisis , just a few changes and you would have been a little closer. For example its impossible to build a perfect Vekoma lsm coaster but mine was dam close and yes i may know alot about coasters which must help. I don't think any of us would just have started slagging you off just it was so er well inacreate we couldnt not say something, i'm sorry it if came out like i was having ago but i was trying to help.

You judge all of us in a flash , your saying as we come on here we must live on our pcs and in a virtual world , well your on here arent ya , and for one thing im closer to working in the coaster industy than you might ever be , so don't tell me or any of the others on here we havent got a life, clearly since your an alton towers nerd that must mean all you do spend most your time at a tussuads park which although having many attractions only two really are anything special nemisis and air, corkscrew is great but its just a standard vekoma design , most the time the rides are either closed , broken down or just simply there aren't enough attractions especially since its so expensive to enter, Oakwood in wales may be alot smaller but offers so much more MEGAFOBIA RULES!.

Im sorry but this park is rubbish. Very inaccurate and not very good. also what is the point in making Alton and then amking it again with only a few tiny differences. Your other 2 Alton's were the same at this one and if you ever try again i suggest adding the biggest thing. DETAIL!

No offense but it isnt very good, i am trying to do one and am not [NOT] an alton towers nerd, infact i have never even been to the park, if u are such a super nerd of alton towers as u claim then why can u not do an even alright recreation, Terrrible!!!

There is a lot of work to be done here. There are lots of things wrong with it. I have a few tips though that'll help.
1) Don't take construction critisism as offence. Take it in and then apply it to the park/ride you are doing
2) Make sure you have lots of media, videos and pictures. Google Earth helps for Top-Down views and www.fotowhizz.com (http://www.fotowhizz.com) works for others as well
3) Never give up. If it goes wrong try again. Many people have failed at this ride, so don't be angry. This is such a difficult ride to recreate as RCT3 just doesn't have the elements needed.
You have done an alright job, just start over and spend time looking through videos and photos. Your overall layout of the ride is very good, just a few wrong elements and curves is all.

ya just from looking at pics you can tell that the recreation is off. And it looks like there are some pieces that dont need to be there. And it is true, RCT3 doesnt have all the pieced you need, but it has enough so that you could make the recreation a lot better. And dont start on the trees thing. There are PLENTY of trees to satisfy your needs. And stop saying that people here spend to much time playing RCT3. You called yourself an Alton Towers Nerd, so maybe you spend too much time studying the park (which is unnoticable in this case). If anyone just played RCT3 their whole life and didnt go to school or work, they wouldnt be able to survive in this world very long.

P.S. Learn to spell and use correct grammar. Maybe you should stop making this "recreation" and start studying.

i've rode nemy more time that i can count over 2 visits to Alton Towers, and im sorry to say you've ot realy got the layout well.

1) the lift hill i roughly 45 degrees from the stations you have it at 90

2) first downhill section is all wrong it doesnt have that hump before the inversion (Not amazingly clear but you can see that there is no hump there)

3) the inversion at the end of the first drop hill is a very sharp twist on the real coaster.
4) the loop is too round, in reality its more teardrop shaped
