Hmmm... I have a suggestion (if its not already incorporated into the set)... Could you possibly bring back those fences and brick (as seen in the fence menu for your Circus Center 1 pack) and make them on the diagonal, with full and half pieces?.

It doesn't have to be in the 'fence' menu, but just be a 'wall' piece like in the 'Walls' menu for the Circus Center 1. I think it would expand the versitility of all the CS sets if creators allowed fencing to be placed on 1/4 tile diagonals. Just a suggestion, I don't know if it is easier or not to change the orientation of an object that has already been created.

Although I very rarely use your sets Shyguy, those angled railings are JUST what I really needed! With all the new diagonal paths and walls being released, it's great to have some fences too. What you see is what you get. I'm not making diagonal versions of all the walls or other railings. Just those pictured. You can probably expect an occasional diagonal piece to be added here and there to future sets.

OK, I'm lost. How do the pathways work? I thought these just laid over the top of the RCT paths. I don't see any paths under Shy's 1/4 paths. Do the peeps walk these without paths underneath? Or would the path in the picture not work?

This is a great addition, as I really needed angled fences and pathes for the entrance of EPCOT. It just wasn't looking right. I'm looking forward to this set!

The path pieces are purely aesthetic. The 1/4 piece can be used to cover the corner of a grass tile to make the corner look more natural. The peeps can't walk on it.

Looking really good. I am happy to see diagonal pieces in your sets. they will alow for so many possibilities.

As for diagonal walls working correctly being position to quarter tile. It is a real big pain to get figured out. I worked on i for hours till i got it while making the my rook set. So i can defiantly appreciate the work you probably had to put in to get them working correctly.

Maybe you should back your opinions with some reasons and methods of improvement instead of bashing these 'n00bs' as you call them, because I'm going to be brutally honest, you haven't proved yourself to be any better than any of them when it comes to park making. And rather than cluttering Shyguy's thread with ridiculous reprimandation, I shall praise him. Your amphitheatre is incredibly inspiring and will prove very useful...it is a scenery piece isn't it? Your bits 'n pieces are "delightfully tacky" and fun to look at, the colors are great and bold. The shapes are cute and the whole Circus Center Set brings a whole lot more flare to the area than a usual circus. The designs are much more circus-y than just the stripes.

And yet all these custom scenery makers keep making diagonal pieces, railings, billboards, path covers, archs, and such. Why don't you make yourself especially famous and make four types of diagonal rooves.

From straight to straight. Have a 45degree roof that connects two 90degrees.
From straight to angle. Have a 45degree roof that connects a 90degree and 45degree. [2-Left and Right]
From angle to angle. Have a 45defree roof that connects two 45degrees.

Please consider these, as they'd be the most useful pieces of scenery imaginable.

Start by using the terrain editing tool and raise the land as shown.

One little glitch...The shading sometimes looks funny as the sun crosses behind the diagonal sections, giving it a checkerboard look. I haven't been able to fix this yet.

Sorry guys. The seats aren't useable by peeps. In order to make them as versatile as I need them, in other words, to be placed anywhere and on angles without collision detection, I think it is impossible to make them "real" benches. Besides, the peeps hardly ever sit on benches anyway.

He's using path covers on the straight part. While it is possible to create full-conforming path-covers (which would be needed in the diagonal sections), the RCT3 engine is buggy in this regard and under certain circumstances they can look pretty ugly.

Thats a good point RCT-Spanky I want this set a lot, but If shyguy wasn't making this set, I think I could settle for straight walls. None of the CS sets that have been made are necesities, but they are great to have.

Anyways, I am really curious to see what else this set will have in store for us. This will be one of the most helpful CS sets so far.

I know that's what you've said, but could you please make diagonal versions of the low railings? I've used them a lot in my park and I really don't want to change them all to the higher railings so I can have them diagonal. I'd be really REALLY happy if you would.

^^ Im in the same boat as NF. I love the railing from CC1 and I use them in practically everything. Not having them would only limit the fencing ... seeing as we only have one other type of diagonal fence, and that's Vodhins vermont set. The set looks wonderful as it is, but that low fence would really make a big difference.

What about terrain following diagonal fencing? Is that possible to do? That would give even more diversity to the pieces you produce.

Thanks for adding the angled short railings. You've fulfilled a lot of requests with this object.

The telephones are great and they will add a lot more of realism to any park. It's such a small detail, but this details gives a park that "Aaahs", "Wows" and "Ooohhs".

The idea with the angled billboard was just brilliant. But you should tell us sometimes, how you did manage it, to have the same colors on the billboards
as in your park. My billboards are normally darker, when I make them from screenshots of the game. I must always play with the contrast, brightness etc. but they don't match like yours.

Just a last question: Can you place the Skeeball-machines only on diagonal walls? In your picture I can see only angled versions.

The billboard is behind an angled window piece in the Side Show Snack Spot. That's how the wall colors match so perfectly.

The telephones are single pieces. There are 2 versions. One is offset, so you can place them side by side or by themselves.

Looking nice. All these diagonals are going to add so much to the game. humm with the sky ball i wonder if you could set it as a pass port machine so that the people can stand in front of it like there actually playing it. I believe some one did that once for there games and it worked.

There are curved and angled rooves in my Gothic Walls pack. Shyguy graciously allowed me to use his textures, so they blend in correctly with the rooves in his Alpine village packs. EDIT: I think I've found a problem... the texture on the angled fences (the normal height ones) is that weird one you get when you don't add a texture. Everything else seems fine though.

It's what happens when you don't apply a texture to an object. In all the pics Shyguy's used they've been fine, so... why aren't they working for us? Hopefully Shyguy will fix this soon.

As for the wired texture it comes up when a texture is missing. First thing i would suggest doing is since your using referenced textures cheek the references I know that if the reference is wrong it will definitely cause that green texture.

There's a gltich in the way files download from my site. Just do it twice and it should work. Usually, the first time doesn't work and you'll notice that it seems to download too fast. It is actually cutting off too soon. Try a second time and you should see it download at a normal speed and it should be fine.

I'm not usre if this has been asked, but is anyone else having problems with the diagonal regular height fences? I believe they weren't textured and I'm seeing that green thing that RCT3 automatically applies to it, so I can't recolor it.

Whoa boy. It seems the "shy-cc2wall stucco3H angled" (title of error message) piece was not included in the latest dl of this set. I had it during the original download, but now as I try to reload my park, I recieve the no sid for siv error on this piece. BEFORE the park finishes loading. The installation is correct; that is the only piece that gives me an error.

EDIT: Bad installation. Sorry.
