ok, i've finished making my models on google sketchup and they are all saved, but how do you get them into rct3??(im new with this scenery thing)

You need to convert them either in Sketchup pro (trial) or in Blender. For the latter method see a few hints on my software page.

why cant you use google sketchup?? im not only going to have it for thirty days! i want one that is easy and free and will last forever

This sounds good, maybe you can create scenery for your own rides. :D

No, Blender is free. MilkShape lasts only for 30 days and the Sketchup Pro trial has a 8 hour limit, but I don't know what it applies to.

Google Sketchup won't do anything for RCt3. It's used soley for creating things to put on Google Earth.

@NGS - Actually you can use it for RCT3. If you use Blender to convert it will work.

apparently there is an importer that will allow blender to read sketchup 1m (not googleearth 4m) files. You can then re apply the lost uv mapping, and export it as an .ase thats read directly into the importer.
and blender is free.

Um I mean you can make your own scenery i.e. your station for a coaster, walls, paths etc... you take everything so personal. Just a simple suggestion, nothing more to it, nothing less.
