They are working on the site right now. Some weird stuff going on but they are aware :)

and ataricommunity.com redirects to ataricommunity.com/forums/ it just looked like it didn't work for you because they didn't put up the standard "brb message" while working on the forums.

Meh. I'll probably just delete it once everything's working.

What would be the point?

Um...I'm not really into computers, per se, so I don't know what a 403 error is. All I know is that I don't know if my game is updated or not since I canceled it after it said it was updated. It kept looping around trying to update to a previous update. Can someone please tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

New information: Now the game won't even boot. It says it can't find or authenticate the original disk. Even when I put in the original, it does this. Please, can someone help? I can burn cds and dvds (I think on the latter, but I never have) and taking that out is not an option. I have no cash to replace it, either. I did a search on the 403, but it didn't help to read what had already been posted.

I just love it when things start going odd. After I rebooted twice, the game suddenly starts, but half of the options are now blank. Can anyone please shed light on this new happening ? :-) By the way, if I'm in the wrong thread, my apologies. This thread is where my search led me initially.

Hi Ysala, As much as two year old 403 errors are confusing to you, your problem is even more confusing to us because you don't even say what game it is. Perhaps look at the list of Atari games and post your problem there, or start a new thread in the unofficial tech support forum.

Abject apologies, kalniel. I reinstalled NWN2 and MotB. I just tried to update it again and the same thing happened. I've gone into the game and there are a great many things that show up, but aren't named.

I am not confused about the 403, I am ignorant and am trying to cure that little problem. As I said, when I searched 403, this is the main place it brought me. Again, I apologize for being apparently in the wrong thread. You will note, you didn't tell me what a 403 error is all about. So, like the Little Red Hen, I'll find it on my own...eventually. I note you are irregular...fiber would help that.

Good-bye

Totally pointless to bump this thread up and say that, dude.
