Is there a limit?

hello
i've been playing with this game since a few weeks and started to be fed up with the pieces of scenery i have. I play this game on MAC. I'm trying to download some new pices of scenery and i was wondering if i could find a guide to the installation on mac computers.
Here's the questions i have:
- which is the right kind of file i can download without "destroying" everything?
- how do i upload the files?
- once i upload the files where am i gonna find them while i'm playing? in which library?

As far as i know ther are currnently no or very few peices for mac, and the peices in this forum are only for PC's. If there are any your best bet is to look in the RCT Mac Forum (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=395).

Well, actually he can use any set that isn't in an .exe autoinstaller. I think the only ones that don't work are some of Klinn's stuff and a few of JCat's sets. And since particles aren't available in the Mac version, Nucluear Fish's particle effects set won't work. But that's about it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think at least Klinn has also released zips of his stuff.

Bullmi, while you could go though the hassle of trying to get custom scenery onto a MAC, you might as well look into purchasing a PC to run RCT3 or possibly installing a PC Operating System like Windows onto your MAC and pray that solves your problems. Though all and all, it’s just best to have a PC. :)

everything works fine on my mac, as long as it is in .zip format.

All my sets are .zip files, so they should work.

what you need to do is go to your Roller coaster tycoon 3 folder. then click on the, Data folder inside the Roller coaster tycoon 3 folder. after that click on the style folder. then click on themed. all the custom scenery you download gets put into that folder. somethings won't work because you need the exspansion packs, but that is how you get custom scenery. nothing is made just for macs, but somethings work, like shy guy's Main street packs 1-3. only some pieces in his 4th set work on my computer. you just have to search around. sooner or later you should find something that works.
