I got mine off ebay for 1/4 of that price (with shipping), in perfect condition (box, discs, manual). That price on amazon is a rip-off, especially since it seems to refer to the box as "shelf-worn".

ebay is not without it's hassles, but it's a much better way to get IWDE.

I've seen copies floating around the pc game shelves at used book stores, for even less ($5-$10).

I got mine several years ago from e-bay, paid around 1100-1400 roubles, it's ~40$. Shipping and payment to firm which pulled this out (it was not possible to pay with my electron card) costed more than IWD itself (~12$). But the box is cool, albeit torn out in the top.
