Perhaps this (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=550462)poll should close and a simple, new thread could be made where folks can chime in and say which set they would like to see expanded or updated- that would be useful in many ways.
I want take the chance and open this thread here. Personally I had a lot of ideas for many of the released sets. But I don't want add here just my personal ideas and hope you have also some additions and expansions in your mind. I collect any ideas here in this first post and any Custom Scenery Maker can see with one look, what you wanna see next from her/him.
I know, that most of the scenery makers build their sets for their own parks and have always their own projects in the mind. But you should also have always a look on that, what other park-builders have done with sets, that you’ve released earlier or with sets from other creators. If we always use your sets in that way, like you have it in your mind, nearly any park must look like yours.
You should always see your sets as a kind of playset like Lego. I think, you should also create some additional pieces to your sets, that you currently don’t need in your park. With a whole range of basic elements nearly any kind of building is possible. This will also reduce a lot of later requests and additional work. And if possible, you should make your objects recolourable. This give us park-builders a lot more options. And a special request to some Newbies: Please use matching icons for your scenery, Icons with different colours or numbers are not very helpful, when you browse the menu.
This are just suggestions and ideas for the Scenery Makers. It's their personally choice, if they want to make it or not.
