** King of Saiyans '06 ** Tournament Complete **

Well since my Goku tournament bombed Id figured Id go with my next idea on my list of themed tournements. This is limited solely to anyone with saiyan blood in their veins. Any character that has saiyan DNA, which includes fusions.

1. Any saiyan or partial heritage saiyan.
2. No Oozaru/Giant Monkey
3. Transformations Off, tell me the form of your character
4. Single Elimination, 8-man tournament
5. PLEASE INCLUDE THE FORM (ie Ssj, Ssj2) AND LEVEL (8-160)
6. [PW] = Password inputted and verified, [WR] = Password Incorrect
7. All matches will be at the Cell Games arena

ROUND 1 - Quarter-Finals

SuperGogeta3 - Lv 160 Bardock vs Bardock-Ki - Lv 160 Trunks (Fighting) (Ssj1)

Trunks took the early inniative by launching right into rush for his first attack. He drained a substantial amount of Bardocks health. Though with a few absentminded moves Bardock overtook Trunks to even out the score. They then proceeded to play cat and mouse, as Bardock attempted two ultimate attacks only to leave himself open as Trunks let loose a barrage of well placed combos. This left Bardock to again play catch up for a good portion of the match. Trunks instinctively kept his distance using the large gap between him and his foe to his advantage by giving the battle worn Bardock a few helpings of his Burning Attack. Of course you couldnt count Bardock completely out as he managed to squeak close enough to Trunks to spank him with a few combo attacks. In the end, even Bardocks tenacity couldnt aid him in defeating Trunks as the young Super Saiyan etched out a victory and a seat in the next round, albeit it was a pretty close victory as he went from full blue bars all the way down to less than three.

IcyVegeta - Lv 160 Ssj4 Gogeta vs PhantomFighter - Lv 160 Majin Vegeta

Now onto the next match, Ssj4 Gogeta versus Majin Vegeta. Vegeta takes the inniative and launches the first barrage of attacks, though it seems with Gogeta's obviously superior power that Vegeta will be outclassed. Vegeta holds on and holds it own as he dishes out as much as he takes from Gogeta. Both fighters take two full bars of damage and continue their hells rain of attacks. Vegeta the ever present field tactician takes advantage of his foe at every turn. With his rope a dope moves, he is a veratible Muhammad Ali. He is bobbing and weaving as Gogeta can not seem to keep up with Vegeta. The Saiyan prince has now taken a solid and commanding lead in the match. As much as Vegeta gives, we can not count out the fusion warrior who is fighting tooth and nail now to wipe out Vegeta's lead. The two are still going at it furiously with Gogeta slowly but surely scraping out Vegeta's health. Oh! As Vegeta attempts a beam attack, Gogeta just mauls the poor prince as he takes several powerful hits to the face and abdomen, then tumbles to the ground below. Gogeta takes after him and the two go at it on the earth. And the violence doesnt stop there, they take the sky as each are giving hit after hit, giving and taking damage like it was going out of style, Vegeta with barely a bar left and Gogeta with only one and a quarter bars, this match just keeps on going. The two continue to pummel each other as Vegeta lets loose a powerful energy blast right in the face of Gogeta, evening out the two at a quarter of a bar. This match is so close, it makes the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. OMG and with one final combo Vegeta manages to squeak by a victory with less than a quarter of a bar of energy.

mexico100 - Lv 160 Ssj4 Goku vs SS4Zach - Lv 160 Turles

Now onto the third match, Ssj4 Goku versus Turles. This match would seem extremely one sided as Turles comes in the underdog. Of course that could be said of the last much but Vegeta came out on top in the end. The match starts with the tenacious doppleganger Turles getting right down to it as he dives at Goku, landing a very nice combo. Goku reverses into a spinning leg throw but Turles does not stay airbourne for long as he launches several volleys of energy blast at Goku, destroying the center of the ring. The two clash as Turles takes a nose dive only to be repelled, giving Goku ample time to charge up into MAX Power Mode. Then blasting his foe with a 10x Kamehameha, erasing a large portion of poor Turles' health. It seems though he in no worse for wear as he takes to the sky, peering down at Goku from above. Oh the two are going at it at lightening speeds, but as Turles tosses yet another volley of blasts, Goku sails around with a sweet half cirlce turn and nails Turles in the back. He can not seem to keep up with Goku, who has been dominating for most of the match. And the abuse continues as Turles does manage to lands a few nice hits but in end is utterly abused by Goku. Turles is knocked back as he regains his senses, he comes back at Goku only to have his block knocked off and sent sailing for what seems the entire length of the battle area. My god I swear I thought Goku took his head off with that punch. Turles seems to be playing it safe, and keeping his distance. He sneak up on Goku and manages to spin toss him, and blast him with an energy beam before retreating. Turles circles the ring and powers up for a Kill Driver after narrowly escaping a 10x Kamehameha. Yes! He lands a direct hit on a powering up Goku! Now he tries to slip in behind his volley of energy blasts only to have them blocked and his butt spun and lobbed into the distance by Goku. And with a final flurry of attacks, Turles goes down without even getting Goku below his Blue Bars.

mav.- *Secret* vs Majin Trunks - Lv 160 Ultimate Gohan


Now its the final match of the first round. Its a secret character versus Ultimate Gohan. The mystery character steps out onto the field and pulls back his hood to reveal... Ssj4 Goku! Gohan is stunned but regains his composure. The two square off toe to toe, neither taking or giving an inch, suddenly Gohan lets loose with a Super Kamehameha as Goku slips in behind him and combos him. It seems that Goku's sneak attack wore off as Gohan lands several nice hits and finishes off with a point blank Super Kamehameha. Goku drops to the ground as Gohan continues his assault. Goku turns the tables but only for a moment as the two go at it as it becomes an almost even contest, with Gohan holding onto a small lead over Goku. Of course this does not last for very long as Goku overtakes Gohan and tramples all over his son, wiping away large portions of his energy bar. Goku seems to have the upperhand only to again be upset by a small error in judgement that Gohan takes full advantage of and blasts him with not only a Super Kamehameha but a Masenko not to later. The two energy blasts take its toll on Goku as Gohan now has a commanding lead, and does not seem to want to give it up. As he is fighting vicously to maintain it. With as many mistakes as Goku has made this match, he somehow has made some very good decisions or perhaps luck was just on his side as he manages to interrupt at least a dozen of Gohans energy blast, those who if they hit could have spelled doom for him long before now. Oh and with several flurrys of punches and kicks, the length of the match just seems to have tired Gohan out as it ends with a very upsetting anti-climactic manner, with only a single punch to the face as Gohan drops to the ground.

ROUND 2 - SEMI-FINALS

Bardock-Ki - Lv 160 Trunks (Fighting) (Ssj1) vs PhantomFighter - Lv 160 Majin Vegeta

Alright the second round is about begin as Trunks and Majin Vegeta step onto the field. This match has high anticipation as it is a father/son match up. Who will win? No one knows as the announcer calls the match to start! Trunks takes to the air to survey the battlefield only to drop back to the ground into a barrage of hits by Vegeta. Things look grim as Vegeta pummels his son senseless. Trunks manages to teleport away to blast his father in the face with a burning attack, only to be stunned as Vegeta simply blocks the attack. The two continue their heated clash as Trunks delivers several crushing blows on Vegeta to etch out a good lead. Though it only serves to anger Vegeta as he just keeps dashing forward, taking a punch to the face until an opening presents itself and he monopolizes on it. He then proceeds to give his son the thrashing of his life with nearly unending combos and powerful hits to the face and abdomen, then dashing to repeat. Vegeta seems to be a being of pure hatred, and shows no signs of letting up on Trunks. After several successful combos, Vegeta is caught unaware as Trunks launches into a rush attack. Then with few combos of his own, Trunks has done what seemed impossible, he leveled the playing field and took his fathers health bar down equal with his. Now the two are ready to face off with Trunks going into a Power Rush and Vegeta with a Final Impact, who will win this battle of wills! Oh Trunks seems to have to slip past his father and landed two successful rushes back to back. But his father is not through yet, as he battles back into a tie with his son. Oh it seems that anger has blinded the Saiyan Prince in the end as Trunks blasts him back to back with Burning Attack, dropping his health down before finally gathering enough energy for one final rush. The match ends with a powerful left hook to Vegetas jaw as he is sent into a rock face, smashing it into fragments. Trunks is victorious but with less than two bars of health left.

mexico100 - Lv 160 Ssj4 Goku (Red) vs mav.- *Lv Secret* Ssj4 Goku (Grey)

Well its the face off of the two Ssj4 Goku's, who will win this match of the dopplegangers? Red Goku takes off and blasts Grey Goku with a flurry of hits, taking his health down almost a solid bar. Though Grey Goku does not take the attack lightly as he blasts Red Goku in the face with a 10x Kamehameha! The Grey Goku has now taken the offensive pounds Red Goku in the face with several powerful hits. Red Goku decides to throw a 10x Kamehameha but Grey Goku simply blocks it. Oh the two are going at it fisticuffs, teleporting and comboing each other. The Grey Goku manages to grab the Red Gokus leg and flings him not once by twice. The Red Goku looks to be in danger as the Grey Goku charges after throwing him and sending a volley of energy blasts while he is defensely sailing through the air after the second throw, and is hit for crushing damage. The Red Goku decides once again a 10x Kamehameha is in order, though the Grey Goku just takes it on the jaw, along with the powerhouse damage, only to launch into a rush attack seconds after. After all is said and done, the Grey Goku has a massive lead over his red counterpart, as the Red Goku is doing his best to battle back into this fight. Now the two are just slugging out, with the Red Goku throwing in a few energy blasts for good measure. Unfortunately it does not seem to phase Grey Goku very much as he keeps his balance of defense and offense. This Grey Goku is just too much a tactical genuis to fall into Red Gokus traps often enough for them to be effective. In the end it boiled down to Grey Goku's effective use of strategy that the Red Goku just could not cope with, as a powerful 10x Kamehameha to the face of the Red Goku finished this match with an awe inspiring conclusion.


ROUND 3 - FINALS

Bardock-Ki - Lv 160 Trunks (Fighting) (Ssj1) vs mav.- *Lv Secret* Ssj4 Goku


Alright its down to the finals, Trunks versus Ssj4 Goku. This is going to be a showdown to remember as the two step into the ring. Trunks is the first out of the gate as he takes to sky and immediately launches a Burning Attack. Oh but Ssj4 has already taken off into the distance. Trunks is unrelenting as he barrages Goku from a distance with ki blasts and burning attacks. Goku manages to hang on but its no avail, Trunks just keeps on coming. The two clash with Goku slipping in some sweet hits but Trunks early assault has left too much of a gap. the fight keeps going as the two continue to exchange special attacks and rushes, but it seems that Goku is just overwhelmed by Trunks whose combo of ki blasts followed immediately by rushes and Burning Attacks just is too much for our would-be hero to handle. The match ends with Goku taking a long nap in the dirt with the final punch to his jaw sends him flying into the ground. Trunks is champion and has earned the title, KING OF SAIYANS!!
