InuYasha is not a "fangirl anime". Fangirls like it because Sesshoumaru is sexually appealing or something. I just think he's awesome. It consists mostly of action, and a little slice of life, mixed with a small amount of drama, usually coming from Kagome. And there's little romance there, although when it's there its OBVIOUS. And that's a little sexist, saying that a woman can only write material for women to read, and it sounds like you're trying to say that Rumiko Takahashi is a bad writer or something like that. I'll accept that you don't like InuYasha, though.

Actually he's not trying to get stronger either. He's kind of just moving along. And constantly protecting Rin and Kagura. I have an idea about what's going on with Rin, but all roads lead to pedophilia at some point. Even the cleanest one I can think of.

Whatever, you won't change your mind, but you're completely wrong in thinking that. And it is very long, you have to have patience to be able to keep up with it.

BTW perhaps the most famous "Boy" series ever, Harry Potter is written by a Woman. Also perhaps the most famous "Girl" series Nancy Drew was written by a Man (with the help of his 2 daughters).

Inuyasha suffers from the normal Rumiko Takahashi storyline. Boy meets Girl, Boy & Girl like each other, and Boy & Girl NEVER say anything about their feelings toward each other. Also the Anime series never has an ending, how can you have a 167 episode show without a true ending? The Manga is still going strong in Japan, so maybe their will be a 5th or even 6th movie that gives a conclusion.
