Seat Position Suddenly Messed Up - Only in Mclaren F1

Something weird just happened and I can't get it fixed!

I had just completed the Millionaire's Challenge in my Mclaren F1 and as the screen was fading away I spotted the in-car seat position jumped very far forward.

Sure enough, when the game put me back into freeride mode, all I can see is the top edge of my steering wheel forward, i.e. the seat postion is way to far forward!!

If I go to adjust the seat position in options it only allows me to move it slightly back from where it is - nothing like the range that it should normally have.

Any other car I get into still has its seat postion as normal, but even after a reboot the F1's seat postion is practically through the windscreen!

I downloaded the new car pack this morning and womder if this is related, but this was prior to completing the millionaires challenge and I did that entire race with the view as normal.

I've taken both the normal F1 for a test drive from the show room and its seat position was also screwed up, the new downloadable F1 had its seat in the normal position though!!!

ARRRRGGHHH!!! :mad:

Anyone else had this problem or got a way to sort it out?!?

It appears to be a bug, a strange one yes but a big none the less.

I've noticed that the reg F1's is father forward than the GTR

Thanks for the replies, I'll let you know if I figure out how to sort this out. Matt, even if it was a bit further forward on the regular F1, this has changed to the extent that even when looking fully down I can barely see the gauges on the dash!

I was going to buy a new one hoping that would sort it out but having taken it for a test drive it looks like it has permanently buggered some setting/variable for the F1... :mad:

It was one of my favourite cars but maybe it'll force me to drive a few others now!

Mine did too, I loved driving it but now I'm stuck in the GT and the GTR. Mine did that when I put my steering wheel in and drove it. Then I put it up for a bit. I pulled it out the next time and it's glitched.

Quite bizarre eh!

Hopeully this gets resolved in the next patch, on the presumption that there will be one that is!

It is really bugging though as I've spent a fortune on that car buying it and tuning it!

Nevermind eh!
