Transformation

I've been having some trouble transforming my characters in DBZ BT2. I can do it every time in practice mode but when i really go out and try while dueling/story mode it never works. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? For instance on Goku you just need the right amount of blast stocks and then press 1 right? Anyways, help me prz i need more power :).

you have to have more than one blast stocks and then press one

You have to go though story mode if you have not. Training is to show you how to do. If you have not gon through story mode, please do.
