I think that the maximum for faces is 1500
so you are ok there

depend the size too.

Recommend level is about 300 per square (RCT3 grid).

It also depends on what your object is. ~500 faces for a detailed sail boat in ok, but it is way too much for a simple cube =)
Seriously, 300 per square is a good approximate, but you should try to use less for often placed objects (walls, lamps, benches, building blocks of some kind) and can get off with more if the object is made to be placed only once or twice.
Still, the less, the better.

Mine is a park centerpiece tower (think Kings Island). So, it'll only be placed once.

Then around 500 is certainly ok, even moreso if its larger than one RCT3 square =)
