Jurassic Park Gateway Entrance and Fence Kit - 1/15/07

I was making a Jurassic park Ride, but I discovered that you can't use custom animations as of yet so I stopped my work.

Chances are I am not going to finish it (maybe if an animation importer is made), but the chances look slim. I made an electric fence kit, a lighted arch, and immobile doors that can be added to the arch separately (didn't get them to move because of the importer).

The reason I can't finish the ride without the animation importer is not because the doors on the arch, it's because I was going to put in all custom dinosaurs and scenery events.

I was originally going to give this to USF Geek, but I noticed he doesn't respond much and a few people wanted this so here ya go.

When and if an animator importer is released, I might consider finishing my park which will include custom, animated dinosaurs and ride events.

@TECHNOFIRESHOW1: That was Usf Geeks project. I was merely allowing him to release this stuff with his pack, but he doesn't seem to respond much. All of that other stuff was part of his package.

That was a long time overdue. The peeps will love you for release this set. I like it very much, but I would like to to see the gate without the JP-logo too (so that anyone can use it for another park as JP too, like a "Deep In The Jungle"-Area.). Maybe an idea for an later update.

I really have no idea, why Guybrush never come to an end with his set. USF_Geek has currently a few problems with his computer.

What I really love is how you come up here with this set. No announcements! Just an release! Ready! Great Job!!!

Must have to do with the stuff I mentioned I couldn't finish during importing. I'll try to fix it sometime tonight or this week. Also, I'll make it able to be used as a main entrance as well as a new version without the jp logo.

Wild! needs to be installed. Sorry about this, but the park I was making the scenery for required dinosaurs from the Wild expansion, so I was making all of my stuff under Prehistoric.

Nice start. I would like to see what else you can do with the JP theme i wouldn't let the lack of animation stop you, still dinosaurs should work fine.

A few types, usually we recommend putting something like this under adventure since not every one has wild especially if there using a mac while everyone has adventure. Also we recomedn to out fences now under the senery section instead of the fence section because rides only alow for so many fences to be show when selecting the fence for the ride and then its starts to move pices of the menu (and if you have lost of the common senery sets that section will already be more then filed) so that's why most new fences are under senery pices or path extras.

I've known about Cooks doors, but they can't help me make my doors do that. I could look into the coding and try to replicate the animation....but I'm not going through that much work.

I like the way the gate came out very much, The reason I've not been responding is because we changed ISP's and the router they sent us was faulty so we had to wait even longer for the new one to arrive. But everything looks good now and will definitely be more active than i have been.

Actually you could just re-aligned the arch so it matches up with the cook's doors,then people could stack up the doors and make a moving gate.

There already is a JP style main park gate ingame with wild. Maybe not as tall, but complete with animated dino.. You could also try placing the cs-gate over an other main gate (maybe this (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573440) one)

Fantastic work and detail, btw. Has the downloads been updated to support the entrance as a main entrance yet or will you come out with, like, another version or a newer download for it?

LW7? r u gettin any new ideas for your new JP set? your set looks good so far, but this fence set is better. its alot taller than yours and has removable high voltage signs. no offence, but it makes yours look more like a backyard chain link fence. and this set has a full size gate. dont get me wrong, u still have stuff he doesnt. like scenery. u have a JP tour car, JPRA scenery, chain lift covers, TLW stuff, plants... keep it going and yours will beat this set by a long shot! keep up the good work!
