View Full Version : Texturing Issue?

I'm attempting to apply a simple red texture to a wall I made as a test wall for the LODs for any walls I might make. I select all of the faces in the UV Face Select and in the UV Image Editor, I select the image I want to place. All goes well, until I realize that I can see straight through the top face. All of the faces are now invisible if viewed through this face. The model looks fine in editor mode, and the top face is simply a duplicate of the bottom, which has no such issue. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe this face need to reverse because it is still facing down when you duplicated from the bottom. Any behind of faces will be invisible.
I dunno about Blender but there is somewhere you can reverse it.
Milkshape called it "Reverse Vender Order"

I'll take a look at that, though I don't understand why it would be reversed when it is only a single plane. :bulb:
It worked!
Thanks! :D

The quick way is to select all in edit mode and press Ctrl+N (Recalculate normals outside). In most cases this will fix all those issues.

or click the offending face and then under normals, chose flip

Well, I simply rotated it across the x axis, but I will keep both of those ideas in mind. Thanks. :D
