Sketchup question

does anyone know if you can set up a grid in Sketchup and how? I have my ball return for my Bowling set, but i dont know how to get the units right. I set to work with meters, but it would be nice if there was a grid.

No, there is no way to setup a grid like in other modellers, but there are ruby scripts that allow you to create a grid of construction lines. Check my software page, there is a link to a library full of useful SketchUp scripts.

Thanks Belgabor. I think I'm having major problems importing this into the game. I tried and it crashed it. I'm guessing it's too large again, but maybe not. I think I screwed up the axes too. The construction line ruby scripts wont load right on my Sketchup either. I'm wondering if that's because it is version 5 and not 6. If anyone can help me get this into the importer, I would be really grateful. I'd hate to see it left out of my set.

That's probably the reason. Almost all work on Google SketchUp, can't you install that in parallel?
