What is the ratio of one RCT3 block in 3ds max 9?
i made a cube in 3ds and it was only 1 block in the porgram but in the game it came out to be about 3x3.

Usually 4 units in the modeller equal the length of one RCT3 square, so I guess your block was really 10x10 units big.

is there anyway to make the grid on 3ds smaller so we can measure 4x4?

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Shyguy said it's 4 meters/square, but I'm not quite sure what that means. So I'm going back to milkshape until I know how to fix this.

As Belgabor said its 4 units. If your not familiar with 3ds, The easiest way is to create a box using the keyboard entry and make it 4x4x4, then click zoom extents, your box will now be zoomed in, this represents a single square on rct3's grid, you can then use the box as a size guide. The other way is to set max's grid and set it not to divide below the unit size, then zoom in until the grid does not divide anymore, then each grid square will be a quater of a tile in rct3, so 4 grid squares in max = 1 grid square in rct3.

I made a 4x4x4 cube on 3ds max 9 and the cube came out to be 1/4 of a zoomed in block on the program. Is there anyway that i can make my grid smalled becuase it seems that its not showing it all the way when i zoom into it.
heres a pic of the screen:
