OK, as many have noticed, the CS forum is more clogged than ever. Most of this are threads that could be avoided, people having problems with scenery, people not reading any tutorials and expecting to be able to make CS in 1 hour. If you are one of these people, or you have problems either using CS or creating CS, make sure you have tried these links first:

Installing Custom Scenery
You have a choice of tutorials to look at for this one. They are:
Iceatcs-How to Install Custom Scenery (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=509122)
shaun allsop-How to Install Custom Scenery (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=521101)
Creating Custom Scenery
To create CS, you will need:

A 3D Modeller (EG: Blender (Free), (http://www.blender.org/)Anim8or (Free) (http://www.blender.org/), Milkshake ($25) (http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/))
Biturn (http://mirex.mypage.sk/index.php?selected=1) (Inless you are using Milkshake, the importer supports ms3d files)
The Latest Version of the Importer (http://rct3.sourceforge.net/)
A Graphics Program (EG: Photoshop. The best free one is The Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/))

And the best place to start is Belgabor's Excellent Tutorial Here (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=521101)

If you have any problems please post in this thread, please do not start new threads.

As much as I appreciate the idea, it won't work. There is a sticky with all the tutorials and people who are too lazy to read that one also won't bother to read this.

I was wondering- Why do you need Photoshop or
the GIMP,

I can easily make the icons in PAINT and I always have

Yeh, I guess thats true :(

Just these forums are going downhill ATM with all these threads about CS probs.

I noticed that too- I wish that the CS forums
could be divided into 2 forums

1 for people making sets
1 for CS problems etc.

That would probably be helpful...

... except that, again, many of the people with problems haven't bothered to read the instructions in the first place, which makes me wonder if they'd bother to read which forum to post in either.

Le sigh...
