View Full Version : Multiple Meshes and Recolorable Textures Question

Can anyone help please?

I have no problem creating custom scenery with recolorable textures for single mesh objects
but I am unsure about how to do it if there is more than one mesh.

1. Is it possible?
2. What do I set in each texture window?

I have experimented a bit so far but I am unsure what the crashes I have experienced are related to.

I just set each mesh to the 1 recolourable texture.

There is no difference, you have to assign a texture (different or same) to each group (mesh). Recolorability is a feature of the texture, therefore one group can have a recolorable texture and a different group can have a different non-recolorable texture.
If you post more info about the crashes you get, maybe we can help more/better =)

Many thanks to the both of you for the help.
I don't believe the crashes are related either specifically to RCT3 or the Importer but rather to hardware/memory issues on my archaic machine.

Now I can confidently proceed armed with the knowledge on how to create these objects correctly.
