Hey guys just wanted to ask you whatsup with the problem I'm getting.

I've just downloaded a new client for OPEN beta of TDU... before this I had CLOSED beta of TDU installed...

Now whenever I click on setup.exe... I get an error message which looks like this.

When I click on more info

Mind you, the CLOSED beta of TDU was running fine and perfect before... I tried rebooting, closing all running aps etc... didnt work.

If I am seeing that correctly, I would guess you got a corrupt download of the TDU client.

Aye, that is a strong possibility. Just to confirm, did you uninstall the closed beta from the control panel? In addition, check to make sure that the tdu directory in your my documents folder has been delete. If not, delete it and the application directory and try to install again.

Arright, I'll try that. I've deleted all traces of closed beta, all the folders, all registry values, everything.

I'll redownload the client... sheesh, 3.8 gigs right there and try again. Thanks.

I was able to install my open beta directly on top on my closed beta. My saved games didn't cross over, and my old profile refused to go online, but it never gave me an issue during install.
Although I wish it had, that way I wouldn't have been one of the first people to discover the open beta still included that retarded install music.
