I can't launch the beta because of this. Is their anyway to free up space or something so I can play it?

Only you can decide what you may want to uninstall from your pc.. if your only lacking a bit, I use a program called crap cleaner, http://www.ccleaner.com if you havent cleaned out windows temp files, cleared things out in while you may be surprised how much disk space is used for.. well, crap lol..I have regained from 30megs to close to a gig on various machines I run it on for the first time..
Another option is if you have a 4gb+ flash drive, or dvd burner, move the downloaded exe to that, run the install from there, that will give you back the file size atleast..
Anyways, good luck...

Thanks I'll try that. How much space is needed to RUN the Beta though.

Or just buy a new HD ... or a good used one. I have a 300gb drive, so I just installed it ... and I still have the closed beta as well ...
Size DOES matter ...

I can't do that. I just bought this PC and I don't want to have to upgrade right now. Any possible way to make it work without replacing anything? I've deleted everything I don't need, I used the crap cleaner the guy stated above and have defragmented and disk cleaned the whole computer.

How much space did it free up? Do you have any old apps or games installed you don't play anymore? And ... check out the files in this folder ...
If you're on XP ... try this ...
C:\Documents and Settings\(User name)\Local Settings\Temp and look for the biggest offenders ... I had 3gb of TDU in there from the closed beta ... just taking up space ... hope that helps ...

I hear you. I shelled out $170 get my PC in shape for the closed beta ... but it was worth it. You should craigslist Arkansas and see if anyone has an old 30-40gb spare drive they can sell cheap. Did you upgrade your PC or just buy a new one outright? I have 3 hds ... 300gb, 160gb and a 40gb drive. I need space because of the graphics and videos I work on ...

Mopar4life, or anyone else for that matter
- Seeing as how you're now unable to sucessfully make use of your TDU Keys...
Would it be too much to ask, considering that I have a good version or the game; that someone give me their key instead?
If you could be so kind as to pm me at: E-mail of illegal key seeker snipped I'd be incredibly greatful.
