View Full Version : Crashes after 10-20 minutes of play

I can start the game and play it for 10-20 minutes, it runs just fine no stuttering or anything but then suddenly the game freezes for like 5 secs and then my monitor goes all black and shuts down.
This is the only game I've ever had a problem like this with, and I don't have any idea what to do. Could it be my videocard overheating and if it can, is there anything I can do about etc. turn the graphic settings down or something like that?

What are your system specs and are you overclocking any of your components?

Yes I did -- there are other posters reading in this thread. It is important that we capture all the defects. Thanks for your support.

Comp specs. ATI x800xl, 512mb ram pc2700. AMD 3000+, never overclocked any of them. Now I turned the resolution from 1280x1024 to 1024x768, runs pretty good now and almost never crashes.

Yes just search on google nvidia 84.21 and download them and try them but first remove your old drivers restart and then use driver cleaner in safe mode so your are sure that there are no old drivers left. But modified drivers of extreme g are better but this is the only game that dont like them :p
