I like the avatar (mainly because my name is Thomas) and you did something pretty cool with the space alloted. 9/10

The sig, is nice too, but you only have a backround. I'm sure if you put something there, it'd look better. 4/10

Not bad to start with. Brushing is okay but could use a few more layers. Text in the corner needs some work as you can hardly see it. Maybe use a pixel font? Maybe add a render or background to make a focal point. Good stuff though

This thread is pretty old but meh...

I have no idea myself but have an idea of how you can do it.

New Layer> Use the Rectangular Marquee Tool> color the squares in with white> Set the opacity down a bit

And to duplicate the same square might want to use the clone stamp tool.

I don't know if this will actually work, but it's worth a shot.

Could work. Might be able to just change the layer style to achieve the effect as well..
