Xbox 360 launch date

Just today, I took it upon myself to find out when the long awaited 360 was to be unleashed on us all in the mighty UK. I travelled into town, fought through swarms of Christmas shoppers and found myself on the door of 'GAME'. For those of you who don't know 'GAME' are a large console & PC chain of shops. Anyway I digress: Upon staggering up to the counter, I asked the spotty Saturday boy the 'hallowed' question... his response...


2nd of December 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I'm not entirely sure how accurate this info is, but get saving pretty quick. Thing that surprises me is the lack of advertising for the 360. We've had no TV ad's, very little in the papers:- What's going on? Any ideas?:twisted:

I thought it was being released November 22nd, at least in United states it is.

Yes, you get stuff last, but you're closer to Japan who gets everything first. So toodle-doo over there and grab it!

360 is out in the States tomorrow, November 22nd.

Can't wait for the 360, I have it on my Christmas list....And the one that has the hard drive, and backward compadapility... The other one you have to buy a bunch of stuff for it, and you end up spending about $150 more on memory cards/hard drive/ect.

And just to clear something up: Japan always gets gaming technology and games first, then the US, and then Europe. Not sure why it's that way, could have something to do with the supply and demand in that country...

Ya my friends uncle got my friend a bunch of games from china because they are like 2.00$ per game out there!It was weird because he got Halo 2, and that is a American/Microsoft game.#-o

This wasn't true for the first xbox... The US got the first shipment of xbox's before Europe or Japan.... no sure if they did the 360's the same. I think the reason why most game stuff goes to japan first is thats where it is made and most tech companys have headquarters in japan because they are ahead of the US in tech... not sure about Europe though

Here its sold out until like a month after Christmas...damn school, kept me away from going to buy it lol. Though 400 is a step price, plus 60 for games, that is 460 alone with out tax...which comes out to 483 dollars here lol. O boy...I do have enough, just that is a lot of money, and my parents refuse to buy anything that is that much for me lol.
